Re: Analyst and investor event Looking forward to seeing the video of today once posted to their site. Am aware that there are many here invested at much higher levels than this. The company thus far has been run by a bunch of boffs, inventing things but not selling things. Its time to start selling now and this is the challenge. I have taken a small position in the hope that they can.

Unless the CEO strategy is explaining they have a plan for cashflow and brought operating costs into synch with revenues we just don't know how long they can survive. What I would want to hear is they have secured significant investors and made serious inroads to major contracts for revenue. This company ran before it could walk and went on flights of tech fancy with no consequence given to "selling anything". I think they may have learnt but lets see as personally I think the sp rise is based on hope and what looks like good concepts, been there before, show me some foundations to back up a business please?

Analyst and investor event "IE is today hosting an event for analysts and investors at its headquarters in Loughborough. The event will consist of both presentations by the executive and operational management and demonstrations of IE's technology. The presentations will be led by Group Chief Executive Officer Martin Bloom who will present on the new strategy of the business. A copy of the presentation being delivered will be available shortly on the IE website. No new material financial information will be disclosed at the event."Am liking the sound of this event and great to see some news flowing. Not without risk, but I am back in on todays dip. Dont think we will see sub 10p again.GLA

Wednesday Movements RNS this morning seems positive, after a 10% rise this morning we're now 7% down. Hope this is just due to investors cashing in on this morning's rise and we see a bit of growth over the next few days/weeks/months

stability? After the sudden spike and volatility of the last week, we may be seeing some stability at the mid to high teens. Still no explanation from the company as to any reasons for the change. Disappointing and I hope that this lack of news flow doesn't lead the sp back down to previous levels. A clear RNS would give it some credibility and reassurance - as an investor it is important to see these official news items rather than postings on their own website. There is a different status attached which the board should recognise.

Re: YE OF LITTLE FAITH!! I've popped some money into this one myself over the last few days and with a 6 month time frame in mind. Its got its funding now.Its side-lined two of the board and has now got a new CEONew strategy also just about to be unveiled.I actually like and can see the merit of some of the products.Its a shame I cant go to the Analyst and Investor meeting at Lougborough on the 21st Sept. I think it may be very well received.I like recovery plays and companies on the turn.Its a real low shareprice so let see where the next 6 months takes us.. Own due diligence.

Re: Definately something They not allowed to trade if they know info that will make a material difference to share price.The new CEO presenting soon and who knows what news will be released. Shorter term targeting if commercialisation of the technology feels good.The rise is in anticipation of the presentation. Happy to be adding at these levels and ride the wave up.Good luck all.

Re: Definately something My guess is the rise will be due almost 100% to insider trading. The fact that they have not released an RNS is more of the same from a wholly naive team who have no idea how to conduct investor relations.Beware of this lot. The management of this company are leaky and have wiped out nearly £600M of investors funds. The chairman is an arrogant inept nobody who will not resign despite myriad calls for the fool to disappear. He has no stake except that gifted him and nor do most of the board.I have a large shareholding in this company and have a lost a bundle. i'm holding out for refinancing and an eventual fruit bearing product line or business. New CEO a decent chap, but they really need to jettison the chair.

Re: Definately something Noticed this company because of buy signal on Fri triggered by golden cross. The 106% rise in SP Fri was cause. Thanks to Barno99 I found probable cause of rise:[link] is one of my largest shareholding. They have been working on fuel-cells for many years and more recently batteries. So far these activities have not been a major driver of profits. IEH looks like an interesting punt. Would only invest a small percentage of my portfolio in them as they are make a loss, Mkt cap of only £34.5m and Piotroski score a weak 1 so risky. On the plus side they do not have any debt, gearing 0.0%

Re: Definately something Sounds as if it could be that - would have been nice to get an RNS about something which could have an impact on the performance of the company and if that is the cause there should be one now. Unless there is a bigger company eyeing up this tech....
