in perspective the company still has enough cash to run to the summer. If it puts itself up for sale it should achieve a price far higher than current market cap. £15mn market value (with £10mn in cash or so) is not a high valuation of a company with: i) 2,000 patents are not insignificant (I think they are c.8% of the total patents lodged in last couple of years in the UK, ii) Suzuki paid >£100mn for a license alone - you could buy the company 6x over for this 3) the Indian subsidiary will have a value to someone. an underlying £10mn ebitda in this division, even without repowering. of course a new buyer does not need to put into place fuel cells. Finally have a look at peer group... Ceres market cap c.£60mn, Plug and Ballard are c.£200mn... so this should go up in my view 4x if it decides to sell itself.
Re: On CNN I don't think their technology or IP is the issue; the issue is cash. IEH is burning through cash without enough cash generation and without enough in the bank.Someone could take over the company but I doubt they'd offer much because IEH needs cash more than someone needs the IP.
Re: On CNN Found the item at [link] - you have to put up with an advert.
On CNN They were also featured at lunch time (as some length) on the CNN programme "Make, Create, Innovate".
On the BBC [link] wont go under imo
Re: On Screen I am thinking that these will be taken over
On Screen Intelligent Energy hydrogen fuel cell, featured in the last five minutes of today's BBC Click programme.Bertie.
Re: Dragons Den Misty Creamybib, agree. Definitely a punt.I'm interested in getting the whole picture behind the announcement. We should get more info soon I'm sure.Best of luck.
Re: Dragons Den Purely in for a punt that this will open >10p on Tuesday. Not for widows and orphans and purely from an investment viewpoint I can see why you would wait. Personally with no bad news on the product I think it is worth a cheeky punt.
Re: Dragons Den I was looking to get back into IEH (lost around 60% first time around!).For those who have bought in, well done if you got in at sub-4p! Big risk it could go to zero but also big reward if funding is found. Personally I'm staying out until funding agreed.Good luck all.
IEH Funding Anything is possible here,I sold my IEH a few weeks ago. . I have invested in others like ITM. (Have a look at the recent news for ITM). Anything possible here, good luck.Loadsadough
Re: Dragons Den holiday weekedn should give achance for everyone to see this properly, if we can hold on to the move back off this mornings over reaction, we should see this stabilise. at what level is for better people than me to speculate.
Re: Dragons Den Agree Misty, crazy market response. Not been in before on this one but having researched this morning this is a mad over reaction.Funding from another source or take out will come. Could easily see this drift back to about 15p close and then steady rise back up to 30p valuation for now.
Dragons Den We have all seen Dragons Den.Sometimes only one Dragon will find a business interesting to invest in, it does not make the other three wrong or the individual Dragon right.A lot of work has been done to determine that this is a viable prospect and the funding issue has appeared very late. We can all speculate regarding as to why...All I can tell is that there is no announcement rendering the technology useless or flawed so why wouldn't someone else come in and fund? The way this has crashed it is as if a Biotech company discovered in Phase III trails the drug they were working on was a placebo!
I have just bought in This will either give a bounce or funding will turn up by someone else
