Good news re Government framework [link] awarded place on G-Cloud 9 framework20 June 2017Ideagen is pleased to announce it has been awarded a place on the latest G-Cloud government framework. The current G-Cloud 9 iteration allows public sector organisations such as the NHS and local councils to find and compare cloud-based services, removing the requirement for a full tender process."Most interestingly:"Also included in G-Cloud 9 for the first time is Ideagens software PleaseReview and Covalent. Both the PleaseReview and Covalent products are two key solutions which were acquired via strategic purchases of PleaseTech and Covalent Software Ltd respectfully."
Another overseas contract win Great bounce back up yesterday. And more overseas work being won (I'd assume this is high-margin work given the location):[link] company, Al-Burhan Airways, works with Ideagen ahead of commercial airline launch11 June 2017Al-Burhan Airways, Iraqs only civilian helicopter service, is to work with software firm Ideagen ahead of launching a dedicated commercial airline service. The Baghdad-based organisation will implement Ideagens Q-Pulse software as it begins to expand its operations beyond operating as Iraqs only civilian helicopter service. The company will expand its operations to include international scheduled commercial flights utilising narrow body aircraft to regional and EU destinations.Q-Pulse, Ideagens flagship software product for aviation safety and reporting, will enable Al-Burhan Airways to focus on complying to global aviation standards and achieving high customer satisfaction.Ahmed Mustafa, Quality Manager of Al-Burhan Airways, said: The Q-Pulse software is an important requirement for ABA as we look to apply regulations efficiently, fulfil organisational vision, and gain an advantage over local competitors.Q-Pulse will be utilised to cover both types of operations and will enable us to ensure compliance with regulations and reduce costs, especially in our first year as an airline start up.Capturing passenger comments and complaints through reports and surveys will be another avenue of using Q-Pulse to monitor the ABA product delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.Mr Mustafa added: Ninety-nine per cent of the required operational tasks are currently completed via a paper based system, which is a time and effort consuming process. Our helicopter operations require minimum use of paper, however that project has shown us the expected workload required to run the planned aeroplane operations which will be significant. Audits, follow up audits, and corrective actions take too long and require personal integrity and continuous focus to follow up.This will change after utilising Q-Pulse.Based at Baghdad International Airport, Al-Burhan Airways currently offers commercial, corporate and private VIP helicopter flights throughout Iraq. Q-Pulse will increase efficiency and help prompt compliance with safety standards, said Mr Mustafa. The system will also help our quality and safety management staff to spend more time on carrying out audits, analysing root-cause, and taking corrective actions while ensuring a systematic standard procedure that all staff will follow. We should see a real difference in our operations in the next few months, including a new standard library that will be developed which covers specific Iraq CAA regulations, allowing ABA to directly apply Iraq CAA regulations rather than depending on EASA regulations only."We believe this will enable ABA to become the benchmark and pioneer for aviation safety in Iraq and beyond."
Re: RNS : institutional buying No-where close to me then !
Re: RNS : institutional buying The family have £350-400m invested in stocks .
Re: RNS : institutional buying Interesting, Vind LV have built a stake in another of my holdings, Porvair, they seem to have done well out of it. No-one on that board seemed to be able to find anything about who was behind them.
Re: RNS : institutional buying I think Vind LV are associated with the Hoegh family, the super wealthy Norwegian shipping and oil family. If so they are definitely long term investors and never likely to be instigating any corporate activity with regard to the company. My bet would be they take their holding ultimately into the 15-20% area and stick there. Always good to have credible, experienced investors like this alongside management in case there is the need for a larger fund-raise etc
RNS : institutional buying Good to see Vind LV buying a hefty 1.85m shares to go to 14.21m in total, or 7.17%:[link]
Re: Excellent year end trading statement I have added again at 81p. I believe this pull-back is pretty healthy and the shares are decent value again now on a 1 yr fwd PER of about 20 and a PEG <1. To me the 2018 projections of around £3m growth in ebitda are extremely high probability given the raft of contract wins recently announced and the £1.5-£2m contribution they will get from PleaseTech. Looking forward my expectation is for the shares to be at or just 100p in 12 months time and above that if there is further good news on the acquisition front.
Re: Excellent year end trading statement Certainly glad now that I accidentally topped up 1,000 rather than 10,000, down 10% since. Could have been worse, I might have accidentally bought 100,000 LOL !
Finncap Anyone got access to their latest research piece?
New contract win Good news today - and timely following the recent NHS hack breaches:[link] Joint Research Office and Ideagen team up to enhance clinical trials and patient safety22 May 2017The Newcastle Joint Research Office (NJRO) is to digitise operational processes to improve the quality and operational management of clinical trials and ultimately enhance patient safety. The NJRO is working with software firm Ideagen to implement Ideagens Q-Pulse quality management software, enabling them to move away from paper-based and manual processes.Q-Pulse will also enhance patient safety by allowing NJRO staff to manage serious breaches a specific term in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines for research organisations.Lesley McShane, Information Manager at the NJRO, said Q-Pulse which is already in place within several departments at Newcastle Hospitals will provide them with a robust system for quality. She added: Following an MHRA audit we identified several areas where we could improve regarding our operational and quality processes, particularly in how we manage non-conformance, document control and auditing.Gill Robson, Quality Assurance Manager at NJRO, said: Managing serious breaches is going to be a particular area of focus. Its a very specific term under GCP, which governs our research activity, and is basically something that has the potential to impact on the data generated by the trial or cause harm to a patient.Gill added: Q-Pulse will play its part in accountability and provide evidence that processes and protocols for the investigation and recording of such events were followed correctly.etc"
Re: Excellent year end trading statement I'm not at all worried about it. To me these are 8/10 results but I am greedy and was hoping for more!
Re: Excellent year end trading statement I agree with your assessment. The 'Organic Growth' point is an interesting one; if Organic Growth has really tumbled from 16% in the first half year to 10% for the full year then there has been a big slowdown !I do wonder how this figure has been calculated, today's update provides a very odd definition "* FY 2016 comparator prepared on a proforma basis as if these acquisitions had occurred during that year" - in other words how much did the acquired company earn for the year before we bought it ! I would have thought that the more normal way to calculate organic growth would be to exclude the impact of acquisitions . Interestingly the half year announcement did not have any definition fro this none-GAAP measure. As an aside I topped up my holding mid last week, but was in a hurry and missed one zero from the quantity in my buy order -- I will now wait for the full results before deciding whether to buy the rest!
Finncap increase target price to 108p Finncap have increased their target price to 108p (from 98p).
Re: Excellent year end trading statement To me these are solid, if unspectacular, results. I would have hoped to see 2017 organic growth come in higher than 10% given it was 10% for 2016, 16% at the 2017 1/2 year and after all the recent contract win announcements - but perhaps those will feed this year's results. The cash generation, 100% cash vs ebitda and rising % of recurring revenues are all good to see and hopefully the adjusted eps growth will be in the mid 20's too
