Re: IAG Broker Target 700p...... Hi Doc, I haven't held any BA shares for a couple of years now. I'm certainly looking at shorting it though..On the subject of breakfast, it's always the same boring routine everytime you're within a couple of hours of landing at LHR. Stale croissant, rock hard butter, plastic egg, plastic sausage, a sliver of pig fat, coffee that tastes of nothing..YUK!

Re: IAG Broker Target 700p...... Mr.A, Maybe it's not the breakfast but the time it is being served. I sometimes forego the breakfast serving and wait until I land before having a decent meal. With the recent rise in share price, and the profits made, perhaps you will be able to experience the better cabins and meals. I do hope so. Upwards to 700p from here.

Re: IAG Broker Target 700p...... Dr Trustme..to be honest I've never flown longhaul in any class other than Economy. My point is that if other carriers can produce an edible breakfast then why can't BA? I observe everything onboard very closely, and most passengers simply played around with their plastic sausage and scrambled egg, nibbled a bit on the bread roll and ate about 20 of the baked beans. The crew collected almost as much 'food' as they served..lolWhat a waste of time and money all round!

Director Buying US$1,000,000 share purchase by NED must augur well for other shareholders

Re: IAG Broker Target 700p...... Can't post images here, but this looks like a normal BA economy breakfast to me.[link] too bad. Must admit I travel a lot too, but I am lucky enough to travel in the better cabins.Glad to see the share price recovering - bought a few more around the £5 mark.

Re: IAG Broker Target 700p...... Bapal..that was a truly dire response. You tell me to 'get a life' because I make a completely valid point about BA's product? Pathetic..hope you're not in a management position anywhere!Now..Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Tiger Airways, Emirates all manage to serve some fairly decent food. I fly a lot..

Re: IAG Broker Target 700p...... When I have turned right at the door, I have found that the ba.con rolls are very nice.

Re: IAG Broker Target 700p...... That was a very defensive reply 6 inch. When I was on that flight recently it was listed on the menu as 'Breakfast', and what I'm saying is that it is almost exactly the same offering as in the 80s. Utter rubbish..

Re: IAG Broker Target 700p...... Economy? Oh dear ... the published menu doesn't give specifics, just "A light meal will be served prior to arrival, including juice, tea and coffee". Club Class is a choice from 4 breakfast offerings though for the "main" though. I won't post the full details here as it may be commercially sensitive information, but it sounds pretty good to me!But economy ... you could ask for "juice, tea and coffee"?

Re: IAG Broker Target 700p...... BA0016Economy, very comfortable seat although very tight even for small people, decent bar service, mediocre meal (compared to SQ) and then..that derisory breakfast from the early 80s
