Re: Out of steam? Topped up @ 114.5 .

shareordie 23 Mar 2017

So 2017 could see $350.000,000 income less tax an costs .$189,000,000 profit at 20.000 barrel a day less a few days at $50 a barrel less the cost at €23 pb is my estimate . So in 12 months time this company would be in a much better financial position. The big costs have been done to now reap the rewards,or Delek reap the rewards.Either way it looks good.I will still probably sell up,as if this deal fails the share price will tank probably. And I've made decent money that can be spent else where.

Re: Out of steam? If c3pow is correct . 17/03/ 2017can not see why not to wait for the ten day extension ?Is C$ 1.95 still = to £1.20.

Re: Out of steam? RNS .. 6th February .. letter today ( X ) take over by Delek. ( "an insider bid " )C$ 1.95 = £1.20.

For transparency I sold at 117 Purely because I wanted to move the cash . ( sold 2 days ago ) I was long from the 30s .To me this was , on the one had great , but on the other am disappointed as I was targeting way higher. Shame and I must stress I had a spread bet on this , no actual shares. So not much I could do on the voting side .

Re: So what happens now? If Delek are unsuccessful shares will once again become free market floating. If successful there will be a ten day extension to sell your shares at the offer price. If partially successful and you decide to keep your shares, then you become a minority shareholder in a company where Dekek are the majority/controlling shareholder. They can make further offers at a later date.If more than 90% successful they can force you to convert your shares at the offer price. To delist on AIM you need 75%, but I'm not sure in this dual listed case.

shareordie 17 Mar 2017

Re: So what happens now? They can also buy in the market as many as they can ,for less than the offer at the moment so I imagine they will be doing that so they need fewer accepted shareholders.

shareordie 17 Mar 2017

Re: So what happens now? If they get more than a certain percentage acceptance then the rest get compulsory purchased,if they don't get above the level then the deal is off any you keep them. The only thing I can't remember is the percentage figure.

So what happens now? If I don't accept the offer of CD$1.95, what will happen to my shares?Do they just vanish into the ether?

c3pow 16 Mar 2017

Willing acceptance? I don't see much in the way of willing acceptance, no major shareholders committed, few smaller investors maybe, like you throw the towel in, maybe prematurely. So you become your own disappointment.OddThe many many millions owned by private investors are just an unknown quantity.I've seen more declare their opposition than acceptance. We'll see

Re: Straw Poll - Consens I sold yesterday, needed to free up some cash and this seemed the best option despite wanting to hold on and see what plays out. Delek offer was well timed and may see them get much of the Stella upside. I had been expecting a better return over time and thought a bid at this level would be less willingly accepted.

Gus1065 15 Mar 2017

Re: Straw Poll - Consens I read through the First Energy valuation received in the post this morning along with rest of the offer documents. Pretty thorough summary analysis. Based on the board recommendation and this valuation opinion, I don't think there is much more in the tank from Delek for shareholders absent a higher bid coming in from a third party. While I still have the sense of being stitched up from the timing of the offer (just as Stella comes on stream) I've more than doubled my investment value here so unless something spectacular comes out of the results announcement (or another bid) I am inclined to accept the offer and move on.Best,Gus.

Re: Straw Poll - Consens Don't really much care what current RNAs say they seem to be downbeat to the point of transparency, Might as well hold ,refuse and wait for a better offer. Not much to lose 8 weeks for 2p gain. at least.Board just puppets at the moment.Offer of 1.50 is a reasonable minimum.Board thinks that shareholders should be happy with the impressive premium they have made!If they bought in during first half 2014 they could be looking at a 20% lossBoard have selective blindness.

Mr Papillon 15 Mar 2017

Straw Poll - Consens After yesterday and todays RNS what are investors going to do?Sell to Delek or refuse to sell?Mr PPS Do we know how the institutions intend to vote now?

onedb1 09 Mar 2017
