Re: At last If there are grounds to extended the protection at low cost it would be good but for operations like this it's often much more about the trade secrets of how they run the process that protect from opposition. It's often better not to publish but just to get on with it! The fact that the units are now running and producing quality product reliably is by far the best indicator for me. I suspect the words ". Recorded production " have caught the markets eye more than anything else. All the protection and clever lawyers won't earn you jot if you don't have a supply line or reliable production facilities. I have held a few shares in 3 blocks for a number of years and look forward to seeing them rewarding me for my loyalty in the near future.F
Re: At last Artji,You are not alone.Huge difference between the company becoming profitable and progressing towards positive EBITDA. The latter shows net income, not profit, and tends to flatter the results.I do wonder what how this management team defines profit. Perhaps it's what goes into their pockets.Perhaps we are being set up for a sale to Mr Black. The global expansion which was in previous years considered to be so importat to growth has been replaced with organic growth. The company seems to have lost its ambition. No IP news regarding US patent expiry in September either. The good news is that the market has responded well for now, but historically it soon forgets the good news and the SP slides again. Re: At last Seems like confirmation of the earlier guidance to me.
Re: At last The market seems to like it, and the progress certainly merits an improved share price, but on 7th June, HYR stated, "that the next stage of that plan would be focused on delivering increased operational performance, reduced costs and ultimately the achievement of a profitable 2016".Now it's, "We continue to make strong progress towards positive Group EBITDA in the second half of the year".Am I the only one that sees this as a downgrade in expectations?Artji
At last We have been waiting for a very long time for this good news. The situation can only improve from now onwards
RNS turn around for business good recovery play
Drift On no news I think this might drift back a bit as those who bought a week ago are looking at 40-50% profit so may bank it in the short term.
amazing..... How one day you see your investment plummet and think of selling out at a lost, the next thinking of toping up.Hopefully the rise is down to USA business growth and stability and the selling off of the UK division....? actually saw a OSS truck today and thought of Hydrodec.Down about 50% now so will wait to see if I can break even,If I do may then invest more,Madoff JnrFingers crosse
Re: Rise Could it be with the insurance claim behind us and steady production the share is seen as having the same value and prospects as last year? F
Re: Rise And still the SP rises. It's actually in overbought territory. Amazing. Any more of this and we will be back to where we started in January.Anyone found anything to warrant this sudden resurgence?Callun
ummmmm Another nice rise today. You know what If I had the cash I might even top up here.Sadly I don't but hopefully the balance sheet is getting stronger admittedly from a weak position and the business getting stronger.Wait and see......Madoff j
Rise Up 50% in the last 2 days.Welcome, but what's going on??Takeover?Positive announcement?Rising price of crude?Or, gosh, has management actually achieved the progress they have been promising?Callun
Re: Looking good I'd also be interested in your elaboration, CCD, as the chart doesn't look any better than it has at other times in the not too distant past. However, I do also think that maybe the bottom has been reached, depending on what happens to the oil price over the next 6-12 months. They appear to have rigorously cut costs (reality finally hitting home?) and it can be argued that events of the last year or two have been largely out of their control (fire, collapsing oil price). Both plants are now up and running, and hopefully they'll stay that way.But Aviva and Royal London Asset Management Limited both appear to be selling, maybe A Black buying is all that's keeping the share price this "high". The thought of him taking it private is worrying though, and a distinct possibility I fear.Have thought about buying some more (I'm also a long term holder) but decided for now to sit on what I've got and see what the rest of this year brings. All IMHO. Best wishes to everyone,Artji
Re: Looking good CCD - one is tempted to ask you to 'please elaborate'.
Re: Looking good I understand your view but I think the tied has turned and things really do look very positive from here.
