Results due soon Based on last year the results should be with us within the next fortnight. The last trading update was positive and looked like a corner had been turned following the fire 2 years ago. More of the same and a positive outlook could see this move forward quickly - it will be about time. Lots of interest around this share at the moment so anything decent could see those that haven't already taken a position getting involved. Back the 4-5p range over the summer would be nice!
Re: Could be the beginning of the rise I quite like the look of this one at 2.4ish following the recent spike and pullback. Let's see how April fares...
Re: Could be the beginning of the rise Hi onedbThanks for the detailed analysis. Time will surely tell if you've got it right this time. It's also nice to hear a bit of optimism on this board but I think Callun & I are going to take a bit more persuading yet.Not sure about your statement that Aviva aren't pros, though. They're a big, multi-national insurer & asset manager, and in my experience when a company like that decides to sell, it does it in chunks, particularly on any price strength, cos that's usually the only way they can shift such a large amount of shares, unless they do need cash quick and have to sell for peanuts. Also, at the rate Aviva have been selling since the start of 2016, by my reckoning they should have sold out by the 28th of December, so we may have a while to wait yet before the overhang is cleared.HYR might not be making me money, but at least it's providing some interest for the moment.Artji
Could be the beginning of the rise I will post the chart later . Quite often once you get a break out , it is followed by a pullback or throwback. Statistically I think there is a near 50-50% chance of that happening , ( we did have that here ) then the rise starts . Unless the congestion zone of the previous range/channel/triangle etc is breached and re-entered. At least that is in my experience and my sampling and back testing ( am not very good at it yet as am still a beginner in python and testing stocks is not so easy ) I have 3 positions here , 2.6 , 2.75 and 3p . Current price 2,7p As far as I can tell what we are seeing is the Aviva seller just off loading sub VWAP in the past few days which strikes me as a seller that is not a pro and just wants to monetise his / her investment for some reason . Could be a multitude of good reasons to bank £1-£1.5m Given the nature of the seller once the offload is over ( someone must be buying them off happily ) I reckon we'll move towards a 4.5p level , ( I see those odds as more favourable than not ) So am happy with my current long ( i will post if am taking a loss or changed my view ) but i do tend to search for break outs then hopefully follow the trend. Hopefully this is one of them but can't be for certain . Same as my target , that is what I see as the next main resistance but there is no certainty . Good luck
Re: Price rise. Still going dow
Re: Shareholdings 746.7million shares in issue, according to fundamentals tab.Around 400 million traded in the last month according to the Java chart, 8 million today against a typical half million average. SP falling again.I know I haven't traded mine.Still no RNS. What's going on?Callun
Re: Shareholdings Thanks CallunDespite looking at the chart a few times, I'd somehow failed to notice the volumes. Very interesting, but expect you to be right about the pull-back if they now resume normal levels.I would rule proxy buyers out as it's a strict no-no even by AIM rules, but then, this is AIM.Another thoroughly disappointed long term holder.
Re: Shareholdings I hope that your reading of the runes is correct, but HYR has the power to disappoint, and a history of pullbacks that don't resurge.Sorry to sound negative but I have been here a long time. That said, the current trading volume is so unusual we might see a different outcome this time with a soaring SP. That would be nice.No comment from management about the market activity, unsurprisingly.Good luckCallun
Re: Shareholdings Chart does not look to bad, I took a small position last week . Post breakout you often get a pull back . You then should see the rise. I am targeting 4.5 as first target . Let's see.
Re: Shareholdings Unprecedented volume over the last few weeks, and as you rightly point out Artji, all RNS declarations of sales, not a single threshold change upwards. Volume tailing off now so perhaps the sP will fall back to more normal levels.Something fishy somewhere. Proxy buyers for Mr Black perhaps, preparatory to a takeout? I believe he can't add many more without having to make a bid for the whole lot. Can't see that there will be much to bennefit the PIs here.Thoroughly disappointed long term holder.Callun
Shareholdings Only another 70 million to go from Aviva. Interesting dealing dates, 23rd & 30th January. The price has held up OK since then. Begs the question, who's buying? Since the start of last year there's been a net declared selling of nearly 69.6 million shares if we assume Royal London have sold the 22 million shares they still held when they went under the declaration threshold, or nearly 47.5 million even if we assume they've held on to those. That's between 6.3% and 9.3% of shares in issue.Yet no new declaration, so have they all been bought by small investors? Seems hard to believe.Artji
Price rise. Going down. Glad I sold yesterday.
Re: Price rise There are a lot of gamblers about. Remember that this share was trading at 14 p just three years ago. Not a lot of progress since then, Rather the other way in fact.
Re: Price rise Yes. Seethe. Entry one below mine and the click on the chart for Hydrodec. This is what has propelled rise, but I believe it to be short lived and will fall back below 2 p.
Re: Price rise Price rise seems to be purely by Chartists.__________ __________ __________ __Can you explain that please? I would have thought the significant trading volume over the last few weeks, far more intense than records show over the last five years, would have been the cause of the rise. Why there is a sudden interest, I am not sure, but something has probably leaked, and not just Superfine.Difficult to tell which way it's going to go, so for now I will hold, though this management does not inspire confidence.Callun
