Hefty buys today. Good news on the way ??
RNS.............Problem solved Hopefully we are back on track now.
Re: Below spec O rings ?? Hi Callun...................................Sorry I am not sure what caused the fire.Regarding the O rings. It is difficult to second guess how they will overcome this problem without seeing where the O rings are fitted. I would need to see drawings of the mating parts and also the assembly drawings. Then I could hopefully see if it is a design fault or merely a machined part that is not manufactured to the drawing specifications.Hopefully news tomorrow.
Re: Below spec O rings ?? green.as, thanks for the link (been away so only just seen it). This certainly makes the problem seem more fixable in a shorter term than I had at first expected.Reading between the lines it would seem that the original spec seals had not been used and alternatives put in place. I would have expected this to be flagged back to the designers for their approval. Also it would seem that they are still unable to use original spec items, and are now reviewing the design.Again I ask, do we know the cause of the original fire? Was that a leak situation? The present leak is adjacent to heat exchangers, so I presume a leak in this region could be deemed a fire risk, hence the safety implications and the cautious approach adopted by HYR in getting to the root cause.
Re: Farewell green.as1953 Mr Trouble,Changing your id will make absolutely no difference if you carry on posting lies about other users. You need to change your behaviour my friend.Good luck with that, but now lets grow up and post only about HYR.
Farewell green.as1953 Its time that I use my time wisely and change my id instead. Thanks for that idea Stratty.TT
