HNR: A stonking obvious short A copy of my post from ADVFN:Highlands Natural Resources' results are out this am and they are dreadful, highlighting poor results, weak management, weak balance sheet, massive losses, cash burn and a declaration that the company will be diluting shareholders in the near future with an equity issue. Here they are:[link] 1. Note the bullish statements, these echo similar historic BS statements from the management in March 2015 when they first listed and in last year's results. Management are ultra bullish and make wild claims not just in writing but also at Proactive events where they turn up to pump up their stock. Regardless of words, there has been no actions. 2. Revenue is once again nil, reflecting the complete lack of delivery by the company. 3. Admin expenses are £3.4m as the management team happily fritter away shareholder funds. The company recorded an overall loss for the year of £3.5m. 4. Cash burn matched P&L. A chunk of cash was raised from shareholders which funded the director's lifestyles and was invested into some intangible project that has generated lots of hot air but no cash and nil revenue. 5. The balance sheet shows cash of £1.9m at 31 March 207, hardly enough to pay the expense account for the directors for the year! They will need to raise more cash ... 6. Which brings us to the going concern statement because obviously the company is not a going concern unless the company can sucker more mugs into buying its shares in a traditional AIM style discounted placing. The Going Concern wording notes:"The Board is in discussion with a number of parties concerning their possible involvement in, and financing of, the Group's East Denver oil and gas prospect. Such third party involvement would provide the Group with the funds necessary to commence drilling at East Denver which should produce short term revenues and cash inflows for the Group. The Board is also considering other financing opportunities, which may involve further shareholder investment as an adjunct or replacement for such third party participation."" At the current share price of 25p the market cap of the company is £17m. On the other hand, the company has tangible net assets of about £2m. That's an over-valuation of £15m or in percentage terms, the share price needs to fall 88% to get to a fair value. STRONG SELL regards, JakNife

In Custer County, Highlands Montana Corporation filed a completion report for the Helios 5-52 16-22, a Muddy Formation well located at SE NW 16-5N-52E (2065 FNL/1840 FWL). the well is reported as “producing,†according to the Montana Board of Oil and Gas Conservation website. Early production numbers have not been reported as of press time. Highlands Montana is based in Denver, Colorado.
