E 28.6, projected PE 23, EPS growth -4.39% projected yield 1.63%.Not a lot of incentive to hold this share if it does not grow as yield below average.

Risk of owning expensive shares This article by Phil Oakley, a well known analyst that have a lot of respect for, looks at risk of owning shares with high PE etc. Of concern is that HLMA is featured. HLMA has fallen a worrying 12.4% this year to yesterdays close. It has gone from one my best performing shares to indifferent.[link] me it is of particular concern as some of my largest holdings featured in analysis e.g. ABF & ARM.I hope markets improve so that these high PE shares once again outperform based on anticipated future profit growth.I'll put a weak sell view to stir up some comments but I am, at least for the moment holding.

Re: Uncharted heights Surely this charge upwards must come to an end soon, even if just for a breather. I'm somewhat tempted to sell half and run the rest at these levels. But....greed is an invidious trait and I don't want to miss out on any more profit! I'll set my target to sell at £9 because at this level there must surely be some pull back, if we get there, all well and good, if not.....damn!

Re: Uncharted heights Apologies to other posters as LKH & I seem to have drifted off topic somewhat.Like you I've not visited the Tesco BB for a while - like you I lost interest a sector with such very low margins & high competition. In some ways it is a shame as the Tesco BB became more than just a BB about Tescos and its sector but about the wider economy, investment options, government policy etc. All good stuff, and there's no where else on iii that we have that.Congratulations on making the top 20. I don't keep an eye on that really, just found it of interest when I first discovered it. Onwards & upwards. Top 10 next week.Keep up the good posts.
