Re: Oddly enough Welcome back Fred. Timescales???========== =========Good evening Openwoe, I would not like to hazard a guess but this has got buy out written all over it and Barclays going overweight with a 3450 PT speaks volumes to me.....Its a bit cat and mouse at present as I feel the BoD are aware an entity is looking to strike but are holding back until they have mopped up most of the stock themselves leaving a small amount to pay the "premium" on BWTFDIK......Certainly going to be an interesting Q1.Looks like my client selling out did the trick with the SP, pesky SB companies want blood these days.Good luck and due to a rather large project starting shortly I will not be posting much but rest assured you will be hearing more from Fred in the near future.Good luck all.
Re: Oddly enough Welcome back Fred. Timescales???
Oddly enough since start of December there have been new short positions opened yet the SP has continued a steady rise.My guess is a price of circa 3000p will be announced for the purchase of the company in the not too distant future.Good luck and Happy New Year.
2016/17 We have seen the start of a nice recovery this month. It is to be hoped this recovery, with the help of good news in March, continues well into 2017. Good luck all, and a prosperous new year to us all!
Re: Director Buying - Darhold I'm going to top up today
Re: Director Buying - Darhold Keep buying under £18 chaps
Re: Director Buying - Darhold The 2nd RNS (Finally) gave the revised shareholding of Darhold - up to 25%.They could be looking to take it private, but, as I've said before I doubt it. The main owners are the same ones who took in public, not that long ago; so why would they have changed their mind/strategy?I'd rather think their strategy is either to block (or increase the leverage over) potential bidders, or just being opportunistic and buying when they know the shares are cheap. It's down today, but had a large rise yesterday, and it's well up in the last 5-6 weeks, so maybe just a bit of profit - taking/ correction.
Director Buying - Darhold Another 140,000 shares acquired by the family / Directors through the Darhold holding company this morning. Are they intending to take the company back into private hands, or concerned about the prospect of a takeover.Either way - share price is down, I assume manipulated by the MMs to accommodate the purchase as we have seen before.Any views?
Re: Update Thanks Fred.Let's hope we can now get back to share price movements which are more logical.Have a good Christmas & here's to a profitable New Year. (Though with A Trump Presidency, the start of Brexit & who knows what change of Governments in Europe we're likely to be in for a volatile year!)
Update hi guys, I am meant to be in non trading/non discussion board mode but I thought I would update you on the spread betting client who has actually become a friend. Well, to keep it short and sweet the person sold out of his positions on Friday as he could no longer bare the fact that his trades were being monitored and his company were actually trading against him, you will be glad to hear that he did not lose any monies because he actually averaged down very well on the drop to 1600p and managed to make a sizeable amount of profit to boot. That would maybe explain the big sells going through on Friday. He tells me he will be closing his spread betting account this week and will never ever spread bet again, as he has seen so many instances of the company going against his trades that it sickens him. He has asked me to promote the fact that spread betting is totally manipulated against the client and it is not worth the stress unless you have a bottomless pit of money and nerves of steel. he has also agreed to share data and evidence he was traded against and says it is all too clear for all to see with what happened here with Hikma, which I totally agree with. So, maybe, just maybe we could start to move back up now, unless another wanna be Buffet enters the spread bet arena and goes long that is, lets hope the much rumoured management buyout appears before such an outcome yet again has the chance to change the share price!!Good luck all and lets see if the spread bet companies are laughing spring time....Merry Xmas
