Re: Recently Added More That should have been on HICL.L,As you might guess, I've also Ben looking over HGT!Sorry if I've confused anyone.DL

Recently Added More I recently added a few more.I dont usually get the jitters, but markets at all time highs, dont make me feel like rushing in, on the other hand the premium has reduced below that long term average, 4.6 yield and a certainty about that income makes me willing to pick up on any declines. If we go lower, I'll add more. At worst a hold, but if your risk averse, willing to take the long view, there could be plenty of merit in having this one in your portfolio.I'll accumulate more on any opportunity presented.DL

A quality operation, very good gains this year and a hold for 2017.

Re: Hello Hi Dave,It's a quality crew. I bought most of my holding in the eye of the storm back in '09/12, so it's been a roller coaster at times. But, you know quality always comes through. I also hold FPEO, which comes along with a solid divided, lately I've ben buying VCT's in the second hand market, but in a world of potentially low growth, PE and Asian/EM is a must in my mind. If it comes along with income all the better. It's why I've got larger holding in HFEL and JEMI.I also bought PCT when tech was out of fashion, in a low growth world you've got to have some exposure to tech in my opinion.Hope that helps in some way. I'd add more HGT as I've got 20% personal income coming from equity dividend, but on any volatility.DL

Re: Hello Excellent. The reason I bought in here is because I was finding less value these days /growth expectations in listed stocks and was using this as access to PE companies - albeit paying a manager on route.Any insights into them you have ?ThanksFD
