rns half yearly Hmmm light night time reading!!! Don't hold your breath!
Tax good morning all, well I guess the best thing I can say about our present situation is that we can at least lay the losses from this share against capital gains on other shares! What a shambles...no doubt all cash has now gone and potential partners have headed for the hills. Sale value...minimum...give the rights to the poor pi's who have stayed on...I'm sure we could better!!
Re: rns waffle My sympathies Bert.Way back, I seem to recall genuine excitement among the geologist contributors in particular when I had to clarify what terms such as 'cathedral' etc actually meant in terms of resource. It all looked good at one stage. No longer much chat about raising a glass of Chilean red to our investment as many once did, although some past Directors seem to have done OK. (I long ago wrote off my investment).Same old, same old I guess with AIM cos.B
Re: rns waffle Kudos Bert for sticking ya hand up! and a gret summary of the downfall of this once hopeful share
Re: rns waffle I'll stick my hand up for being a former "glee club" meber. You'll know its mine from the red face its attached to, and the resigned look upon that face.Way back when, I invested in a company which appeared to know what it was doing, had a boss who had a plan, and a good rep, had money in the bank, and had a decent looking prospect to drill and prove up, before opening a mine or moving on.Sadly, the boss moved on, for "personal reasons" (be intersting to see his family's holding here these days), and the company decided to fritter away ever increasing amounts of cash by extracting minerals through drilling holes, not by mining. Add in some decidedly awful finance deals, seemingly made with all the business acumen of my 4yr old, and a board who turned a half decent looking little explorer into a way of funding holidays to South America while paying themselves an astonishing amount for very little involvement, and what's left?Selling off the site we started with, to finiance the debts run up over-extendng on others. I still have some shares here, because frankly they're barely worth selling. I don't know what Corbine has, he stopped posting here a while back, but still posts on LSE. Everyone else has pretty much vanished into the ether.I've learnt a few pretty sharp lessons here.We were'nt sold a pup, though. Its just the Pup grew up to be an utter hound.Beyond frustrated.better luck elsewhere for everyone, I hope.
Re: rns waffle thats a good point, what every happened to the old "Herencia cheer squad" between them they always claimed to have tens if not hundreds of thougsands invested here. and yet they have all evaporated.even the self made investor website has gone?
Re: rns waffle You do yourself an injustice Monkfeesh me boy. You did indicate your concerns not a mere 12 months ago but in fact 3 years ago ...to be precise 30/07/13 when you wrote on here..."I would rate HER as being more akin to the Titanic"The previous week (24/07/2013) I had blogged "HER is just one of many shares on AIM which were being ramped a year ago by both brokers and punters. The knock-on effect of the market and especially lower precious metal prices have dragged things down. However there is a darker side going on whereby some companies are continuing to pay high levels of remuneration to directors, which might not be compatible with their present stage of development figures, while at the same time they are drawing down on loans and via share placing. So DYOR and choose now whether HER is a bargain price longer term punt or a future disaster."I wonder if Corbine is still holding shares or did he jump ship in time?...
JV???? Re; RNS 28/07/2016Part quote from GS 'Look forward to working with them 'GMR' in the future. You never know.
Re: rns waffle i don't think this company will ever have a future. that became painfully obvious about 12 months ago. unfortunatly it was in a downward spiral and hasn't really seen much upturn since. its got 6 weeks to start making progress or i'll take the hit and take my few remaining pounds to sink into AST. they've actually been making progress and look to have a promising future unlike this pile of t@rd!Monk
rns waffle Good morning all, I am sorry to say I'm completely underwhelmed by the latest news! It seems the monies raised by the sale of a "flagship" asset of gone to pay off creditors who no doubt include members of the BOD! It seems we now need more money to ...."use these funds to move Picachos closer to a decision to mine or provide the foundations for potential joint venture ." I'm not even sure why funds are needed to make a decision, especially as this subject must have been debated for many months now and all the appropriate variables already known!! Also there seems no progress in the removal of Captain Virgin from the team and still he has failed to put spade/pick into the ground. I fear there is absolutely no future in this share!! AJ
Re: Corporate Reinvigoration [link] One day when people want to mine copper again the share price may go up ,or at least go through a phase of intense scrutiny !
Corporate Reinvigoration Can only be a good thing .Possibly ?Probably ?Or maybe not .Good luck All Her Sufferers .The end is nigh or high ?.And May
Recruitment Advert Wanted Dead or Alive Anyone daft enough to take over the drivers seat for the final part of the car crash.GS does not' want ."Piloted HER in a terminal dive into the ground while milking it to death on his CV.Want to crash your career into a brick wal?l then this is just the job for you!Any application guaranteed to be successful sorry but GS has hung on to wring out the last few coppers from the coffers so there will be no money left to pay you.Applicants from care in the community will be afforded a priority welcome.
Re: good news or bad, An utterly disgusting performance He is not fit to clean toilets. Those who do have more dignity and ability G S you suck.Drill another hole and climb into it do us all a favour.
Re: good news or bad, Perhaps we could all post our CV's on here for Herencia. They can't even find a replacement suitably qualifed to help destroy a company as effectively as the current board. I'm a skilled engineer by trade but I'm willing to give it a go for the substantial wage associated with the job. Obviously I'd be asking for career persion rights as well just to make sure I maintain a steady income. After 12 months I'd have enought to buy myself a big digger and dumper truck so I can start exploiting the easily accessable assets the company seems intent on selling off instead of harvesting those resources.Oh well....six months til we have to sell another chunk off..Monk
