Well hopefully all the rubbish is behind us, and the water flood will be a new beginning, for Rick and all shareholders.I will also add, no closed period now as the report is now in the public domain...Rick stump up some cash, buy some shares in Hawk and show ALL, you have faith in the company, and what the water flood will bring to one and all..
Opec Extract.....This is a historic deal. This is the first time OPEC and non-OPEC will agree together in over a decade. This should put a floor on oil and should see oil move back toward the $60s," Phil Flynn, analyst at Chicago-based brokerage Price Futures Group."The cartel proved that it still matters even in the age of shale! This is the end of the production war' - OPEC claims victory."
i wonder if the original waterflood will be popping up again in the near future!, approval was granted, it just needed 80% !!!!!!! Knutson!!!!!!????Quote....from litigation RNS......Running Foxes has agreed to certain terms regarding any future water flood projects that Nighthawk might pursue in Arikaree Creek.
Re: Currency uplift Stronger the $ the more the business loses....Barno...do you EVER look at the downside risks of things or is it sunny side up all the way with you?...we are polar opposites
Re: Currency uplift Stronger the dollar the more money we make..
Re: Currency uplift I assume we are making a loss , surely that will increase with the currency drop ?
Re: Hopefully lo
Re: Hopefully barno99,Yes , there is big money round the corner - if you travel in reverse. I know because I used to have it !Seriously though lets hope good times are coming back.
Re: Hopefully Haha, I guess I have. But at this level it has to be a bit. Just a little buying sends it sky rocketing and that tells me a lot about the MM position. It's been driven down for a tree shake and it worked.I will hold for 4p and above..I'm sure there's big money just around the corner going forward .The dollar gain will help a lot here even if the dollar rise is only down to $1.3 to the pound.
Hopefully Rick will release our interims next week.We know most of the figures regarding bopd, we just need to know how much $$$$ we sold it for??Will we be told some news of more oil being hedged! We may get an update informing the market regarding water flood completion on course.I thought our sp would have held up a bit better than it has, but over 1p!!!Barno...you seem to have taken my mantel..re Strong Buy!! I thought that the case at 12p...then poo when down, down!!!Gla
Re: Currency uplift Barno.....the £ $ was approx 1.40 March-24 June and then around 1.30 since so you may see 1/4 of the year being affected by this.
Currency uplift Due to the dollar strength the profits will be certainly up due to the weaker pound... This will have a fairly large affect on profit upwards..
Results and Waterflood project news due. Good news due with results and the Waterflood project to come.16 million barrels is not to be sniffed at.. Work has commenced and equipment in place ..Gravy very soon we all wish for..Water Flood Pilot vs. Original Project ComparisonsNighthawk estimates the total Oil in Place in the entire field potentially may be up to 16.6 million barrels. The estimated ultimate recovery (EUR) under the water flood project is projected to be between 30%-40%. The Nighthawk-provided table provides comparison of the estimated recovery for the original water flood project and the new proposed pilot project. Original ProjectRange Pilot ProjectRange(in Mmbbls) (in Mmbbls)Low High Low HighEstimated total OIP 16.6 16.6 8.6 8.6Estimated Recovery 30% 40% 30% 40%Total Estimated Recovery 4.98 6.64 2.6 3.4Production to date (est.) The revised capital cost projections for the pilot project are less than half of the originally projected capital costs of $5.1 million.Due to lower actual historical production in the southern part of the field, the pilot has a disproportionately higher share of the remaining OIP, Nighthawk said in its release.Nighthawk said the state approval of the original project was subject to the obtaining 80% approval of the non-cost bearing royalty interest owners within the next six months, using an agreed upon revenue allocation method. Management is confident that expected required royalty owner approval level for the pilot will be met, the company said in its news release.Nighthawk expects its amendment will be reviewed in the June meeting of the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, and it believes an approval will be received at that time.Oil & Gas 360 - Nighthawk Energy Colorado Waterflood ProjectSource: Nighthawk EnergyThe work on the asset goes back to late 2012 when Nighthawk drilled five new wells across its acreage and made a significant oil discovery with the Steamboat Hansen 8-10 well, marking a significant Mississippian discovery in the Smoky Hill project. Successful completion of this well helped to de-risk the potential for future development of the Mississippian as well as the Cherokee formation on Jolly Ranch. The area around the Steamboat Hansen 8-10 well is undergoing further development and is known as the Arikaree Creek Oil Field. Nighthawks two primary projects, Smoky Hill and Jolly Ranch, comprise more than 300,000 gross acres. Nighthawk is the operator and holds 100% working interest in the asset.
