Re: FWIW do you think! no1s - unfortunately it doesnt look like a double bottom to me - there needs to be more time between two very similar lows. To me the the SP looks likely to drift lower, and its hard to see what could come to its rescue, as the sector is in a severe downturn.

Re: My take FWIW Hi FL - interesting contrary take, but with OPEC (Saudies) in a fight to the death with the US over oil, I have the feeling that there is still more carnage to come shorter term, with yet more co failures. I am sure in the longer run the sector will recover, but it strikes me many PIs have been slow to pick up on exactly how bad the sectors prospects have become short to medium term, That is where the charts have offered really good warnings signs. It cant be too long before capitulation, but cos like HAWK will not likely survive I would have thought. Anyway hope all goes well, and that the recent storms missed your part of the world. ATB ARChart says poor old HAWK!

Re: My take FWIW no1S - this piece from marketwatch gives a good roundup of why the sector is in dire trouble, and more carnage is on the cards before a turnaround. The market had seen this coming a good while off, and its hard to see HAWK coming through this intact.[link]

My take FWIW Good news that 'The Company and the bank are working together to modify or adjust the covenants under the RBL to provide for a long term solution that will allow ongoing compliance. It is expected that these modifications will be in place on or before December 22, 2015. It is not expected that these changes to the RBL will accelerate the maturity date of the loan'. No penalty of payment.That production is the same as last month...why pump out more for less!!!!!That does not make sense to me, i still have the opinion that productin is being manipulated.Hearing date for W F 25th Jan 16.GLA

Goodness, 1p touched today... Looks like the carnage continues. The chart just looks 'orrible! I'd salvage what I could if I held, but that is not intended as advice, just my view. AR(Chart shows classic sell signal in Sept 2014 when the SP was above 9p!)

Find a new job McCullough Waste of time paying you for destroying this business. i could do what youve done, hardly difficult. take charge, hedge bit of oil, drill duff holes listening to useless geology staff, burn remaining company cash doing so, tell crew to keep doing as they've done to keep production same, send out a disappointing update now and again when it suits.
