Re: GRPH not sea water article Co. What do you make of oneways 08:15 post & link ????????????????
GRPH not sea water article Co. as far as I am aware. It was to do with some University in the UK using Graphine oxide or something to get the salt out of sea water. Don't thing this Co. have anything to do with that??!!
Re: Seawater into Drinking Water Anybody know if 4 traders are a reliable source, do seem to be attributing the desalination news to grph through msn money..........who knows ????? going from price action most seem to have jumped into applied graphene.AIMO
Re: recent rise I saw the piece about Manchester Uni and Graphene...It could be that "word association" led to an interest in the stock, or it could very well be Darwin and disposal related.Fingers crossed the rise holds.Certainly the increase in volume is very impressive.I discount P&D activity, as these are normally preceded by numerous "Must get in quick" posts across as many social media outlets as possible.I have seen none. (Doesn't mean it isn't occurring though)
Re: recent rise auGment - you basically answered same point as me but in less words. well done.
recent rise I'm invested here and believe the company have a bright future. But dont confuse research being undertaken by UMIST with the development and sale of graphene based oilfield chemicals - which is the business GPRH are in
Re: Seawater into Drinking Water onewayticket - Yes, you may have found the reason for the rise but is it based on anything that GRPH is involved with?In other words I think many potential investors may be misguided or misled into thinking it is GRPH being involved here by hearing this ground-breaking news.I do hope they are [involved] in some way because, at the moment, I feel everyone heard this news and just jumped to conclusions. Incidentally at very early stages and by boffins in the University of Manchester, not "the company" - although maybe lost in translation as I assume you do not mean this company i.e.GRPH, when you say "its the new technology the company have just manufactured.......etc".However the rapid rise yesterday might have been a classic pump and dump but does seem to be holding up and rising again or will this fizzle back to 5p/6p.I for one will probably jump in anyway if lucky enough to get these at 5/6p although, IF they do get involved or are involved in the seawater to freshwater transition using graphene then this is, as you say, significantly undervalued. For now though I m not so sure. Yes, more DD needed. In fact a phone call to the company might be a good idea.Incidentally I have only just come across this stock, like many, as it "popped up" after the BBC news item so I accept I need to research more.Fingers crossed anyway.
Re: Start of the bounce ? rwrAnything Darwin have to short sell I think will be easily consumed with the significance of what Graphene Nanochem have just announced. Don't forget this was at a priced to fail share price last week.3 or 4 good share price catalysts sat here now.Successful debt reorganisation.2 recent contracts with big expansion scope.A Darwin out bounceandSalt water to drinking water filter. The present market cap is a pittance to be honest.Own due diligence
Seawater into Drinking Water I have just found one good reason for the recent rise and its the new technology the company have just manufactured that is a filter that turns sea water into drinking water. The ability to have a filter that turns sea water into drinking water is imvho an achievement of the highest order. My equivalent of turning base metal into gold or an overnight cure for the common cold or cancer. Just for a moment think of all those drought stricken countries in sunnier climates surrounded by an abundance of coastline and oceans of presently undrinkable salt water. Furthermore its a completely free resource without any water company ownership.[link] not often the little man gets in ahead of the big institutions and the pack at a distressed share price that is already significantly undervalued. In no way ramping this up but there is massive global appeal here that for the patient should reap healthy multiples of todays share price. Re: Start of the bounce ? Ewan - Tues 13.08You mention 40 notes at £1m can you confirm this information and source please as this is what I have found showing 20 notes at £.5m:[link]
APPROACH! That's my bet 50p+ takeout!
Astonishing Day Top listed at number 2 tonight Ewan on advfn with a 51% gain on the day. even bigger gain than yesterday.Volume is very large and many many times the daily average. Great upward trend also to accompany this with a dip for stock replenish and a strong finish. Bodes well for more upward momentum tomorrow. Half again would do nicely.Pull back the elastic and then release and well done Disorder. Looks like yours and my timing was spot on.Any concrete ideas anybody on what's brewing?Ive suggested a few. Large Non core asset sale. Darwin no longer required or could it be an institution have bought out any further Darwin loan commitments. Recent contract extensions.Any other suggestions.Long may the rebound continue.Own due diligence.
Re: Toplisted Im going to be honest here, and yes indeed I have removed my initial stake.I am now on free float.Just short by a whisker of 100% since Friday, and even I was not quite expecting that.Clearly I want it to keep rising (As I have shares). But what is it that is driving it?Its gone from a punt to intrigue now.As ever I hope anyone underwater here gets an opportunity to crystallise with no losses.Another conversion from Darwin could we see the same again? (Rinse and repeat)Or could it be as onwayticket suggests that it could be news driven.Interesting, but it was only ever small punt money here for me...(Now, if only these sort of rises would happen to my main holdings I would be very very happy)
Re: Toplisted You seem remarkably tetchy for someone whose investment is appreciating. Guess you are still well underwater, as everyone would be unless they bought very recently. I said the rise would peter out without news to back it up. Not very contentious, but you seem to have taken it personally for some reason. Then I post an observation about the desalination research and off you go again. Only Disorder has any right to gloat so far.Let me know when you break even.
Re: Toplisted And still it keeps going and the volume is eclipsing all I've seen previously.I'm stabbing the dark with non core asset sales.Could it be no further requirement for Darwin or an approach.Massive massive volume for Grph.Own due diligence
