Re: Late Results Well spotted BobssonSAGE
Late Results As we know the final results for year ending 31/12/15 are late. They should have been published end of June and have to be published by the end of September. The company "anticipated" publishing by end of August clearly things are dragging on. The non core assets have a forced sale value of £18.2 million, however a forced sale is a forced sale, and I think buyers would be very charitable in paying even the discounted forced sale price. I would expect the remaining two secured creditors just want to be repaid and they can exit happily. That would leave GRPH with one working credit line for the longer term. I think GRPH just want to get the sales away before publishing, if no sale the two creditors are secured and may foreclose on company assets. That would not be good.IMHO DYOR
on the lse website Just to let you guys know someone on else has stated that someone has sent the CEO a question and told they were posting late due to volumes of paperwork due to the debt restructure, I have no evidence to prove this true but I have no particular reason to believe it is not, the volumes and share price do not seem to suggest there is too much to panic about beyond the funding / sale elements we already know.
Re: has suspension ever been a good thing? C, Yes usually suspension is a bad thing, so on the negative side the recent successful funding restructure did mention the need for selling non core assets at a competitive price, and as I stated in a previous post, good luck with that. So if no sale of non core assets, then GRPH may be back negotiating a new re-finance package. If the non core assets cannot be sold they have to be closed down.Again, as I previously posted, GRPH rarely gives financial updates, just how well is the company doing? We see articles stating Scomi (our trading customer) wants GRPH to scale up production of its products. But we just do not know how much cash the sales are generating and what, if any our profits are. It could be that a low ball offer for the company is in the offing. I do not know AIM rules sufficiently to know quite how GRPH can legitimately avoid reporting results on time.Curious situation and yes, worrying.IMHO DYOR
has suspension ever been a good thing? Unless there was a takeover I have never known suspension to be a good thing. I find it frustrating that no details as to why the accounts will not be ready, it's not as if it was a surprise they were due. They were doing so well this past week or two but I suppose it's just smoke and mirrors as usual on AIM.
I remain positive about graphene namochem after reading this articel!
RNS Debt restructuring RNS yesterday, stating 100% of debt addressed by the announced restructuring, short term converted to long term debt with payments timed to expected profits. Some of the restructuring involves selling non core assets for the right price, so good luck with that.As usual the trading update element not much use at all, at least the company is moving into water filtration and as stated previously this could be a massive industrial market, main players being mining and oil.So we awaited formal results to see exactly how the company is doing, and results may be in June.
Re: Poor performance Mikey, I am also suffering a big loss here. Part of the problem is the question over the company debt and can it enter into a new rolling credit agreement with the banks (?). The company has revenue and orders, but only really sets the numbers out in two reports per year. The products help drilling companies cut costs and appear to be selling well. But as already stated drilling operations have been drastically reduced due to glut of oil. Products appear very good and are selling, need finance issues sorted and oil supply glut to turn negative.IMHO DYOR
Re: Poor performance Mikey,'Graphene' does indeed make a compelling read when researching its potential. The application of GRPHs products are for the oil exploration industry which of course has declined significantly with the oil price. When either the oil price rises, bringing with it increased exploration and/or other applications are commercialised (I think for example they are doing R&D in batteries), we will see the sp rise we hope for.
Poor performance There is so much good news out there regarding graphene. Why is the GRPH share price so low?I am invested but am suffering a large loss!Is there any hope for this company or do I just put it down to making a wrong call, sell and run?Comments please.
Re: i have gone blue. It only lasted 3 days but as always we live in hope.
