Re: Potential bobsson,With Darwin in the background these are never ones for widows and orphans but with any such falls comes the opportunity to buy into the potential for a substantial recovery in the stocks price. The saving grace is that with this Darwin agreement, and unlike so many others, it is split into 3 tranches and with distinctive dates attached which are all a couple of months apart and which in my view give a chance in between for a resurgence in the share price.Any further contract wins (of which the last for Platdrill was "significant.) or 1 or more substantial asset sales should put some good percentages onto the value of this stock.I think the Palm Oil refinery (probably first) and the fuel additives business will both be sold. Its one of my speculatives for 2017. Own due diligence
Potential There does look like potential for success here, I think water filtration could be a big winner in addition to the drilling fluid additives. But 2017 a transitional year for GRPH, if the company ends it strongly and cleanly then 2018 could be a good year for the sp.IMHO
Cant be that Far off end of No 1. Fortunately the darwin funding monies here have been split into 3 distinctive tranches with distinct dates and Tranche 1 musn't imho be that far off being completed. Then it should be back to normal service resumed and awaiting developments on further contracts and the disposals front. There is presently not much if any premium presently attached in respect of the recent "significant" contract news.Own due diligence.
Tenders + Reach + Potential Disposals Certainly one in the midst of restructuring but also one that could pull it all off and come out the other end smelling rosily now the oil price is back climbing. The recent significant Platdrill contract hopefully the first of many in the shale gas industry. For the immediate year ahead I'd be looking for news:On further contract signings for PlatdrillandNews on Non-Core asset sales to reduce debt. (Fuel additive business and Palm Oil refinery in Malaysia)An interesting article off Greenbarrel with some good knowledge and I focussed in on this snippet."All told the company with other Scomi agreements and other contracts purchase orders and up-coming tenders Graphene says it has market reach in 67 locations in 23 countries."A bit more summary here.[link] due diligence

Re: Excellent RNS Bingo AuGmentNot many out there left with exposure to a recovery in the oil price and gas and that hasn't already benefitted and is sat close to a recent floor. China's a tough market to break into and its one you can easily see some great growth potential in.One on which to hold and be bold for the mid to long-term. Own due diligence
Re: Excellent RNS ive held this stubbornly since the 50p days and thought they would not survive until recently. While their products are highly innovative, sales are linked to oil exploration which hasn't fared at all well over the past few years. Now that oils fortunes are turning i expect this share to rally. 50p plus is easily achievable in a bull oil market particularly as their products are niche and have no real competition
Excellent RNS "Graphene NanoChem, the international provider of nanotechnology performance enhancing solutions for global industries, has announced a significant contract win with the receipt of its first commercial order and deployment of PlatDrill in China, tapping into the new burgeoning market for shale gas development in the south-west region of China. The initial commercial order of 4,000 barrels of PlatDrill, valued at US$359,678, is to service 2 wells in Changning, in line with the China government policy to increase the development of its shale gas resources, more than 300 wells are expected to be drilled per year in the next 5 years, which is among the largest in terms of number of wells in Asia..."I read this one early doors and liked it.Excellent news on breaking into the Chinese market and you can just see the scope and growth potential of the business off that market alone. Seems a really good play on rising commodity prices what with OPEC having recently agreed to curtail production. That being the converse of previously flooding the market to squeeze down prices and to squeeze out and close down shale producers. Its been a tough few years. Hopefully the start of a transformation. My first tuck away investment for the months and years ahead.Own due diligence.
Re: MQ, Not a write off as they have come back from suspension today. The company was previously touting graphene enhanced oilfield lubricants as the way forward, now it seems they think building materials and graphene enhanced water treatment solutions are going to be big. My hunch is that demand for water purification products could be a big winner if they get it right. But it seems to me as if water and building products are only in their infancy and that oilfield lubricants are not the money spinner the company thought. So it looks to me as if GRPH is not for widows and orphans. I have lost about 85% on this share so will just hold to see what happens.IMHO DYOR
Just had a look at this share which I have held for some time. What is going on.....Have lost track. Is it a write off?
Re: Relisting 8.45am today!
Re: Relisting roadhog, Shares should have been relisted on 7th December, but the latest RNS stated the shares are to remain suspended. There is currently no information as to when the shares will start to trade. It remains possible they may not trade again.DYOR
Relisting When Is this due to be relisted? I thought it was meant to be tradeable by now?
AGM Just wondered if anyone was venturing to the AGM? If so could they provide anything useful.
