P/E of 4.2 plus divi GMAA are about to be on a P/E of 4.2 for 2017 given forecasts of 26.11p EPS for this year and 28.81p EPS for 2017.Even the forecast divi (varying between 2p and 2.77p depending on the analyst) is looking useful now! I can only surmise that a determined seller or two, along with stop losses being hit, has resulted in this (imo) bargain price, especially considering that Europe - which is the sole problem area - is such a small part of the overall operation, and even this is not such a problem area since it's essentially just flat, as this new interview with the CEO indicates:[link] "GAMA Pitching for Long-Term Success by Ian Sheppard November 2, 2016, 80 PMGAMA Aviationbest known in the U.S. for operating Wheels Ups fleet of King Air 350iscontinues to grow its international presence and develop what it believes to be a more-or-less unique model, combining FBOs, a managed/charter aircraft fleet and an MRO.Marwan Khalek, founder and CEO, told AIN at NBAA 2016 that its managed fleet continues to grow, noting that the company (Booth 3319) will soon add three more aircraft in Hong Kong. In addition, he said, GAMA it is preparing to build a new facility in Sharjah, where it already has an operation, that will allow it to tap far more into the lucrative Middle East market. The company will be expanding more on these plans next month at the MEBAA show.Meanwhile, AIN recently visited GAMA Aviations new FBO in Jersey, where the company held a private viewing event with a range of aircraft from OEM dealers in the UK.As well as its Wheels Up contract, GAMA Aviation also manages aircraft that it charters out for the owners, and this fleet is growing, Khalek said. For us, the U.S. has been a good growth market. Wheels Up is evidence of that but we mustnt lose sight of the success in our core business in the management business, particularly in the U.S.Europe remains flat, but the maintenance side is still pretty good. And its pleasing that were seeing movement in the Far East and Middle East now. He said the model of managing aircraft for owners and using them for charter remains robust and popular, particularly in places like Sharjah. On Wheels Up starting up in Europe, he said, It is very much on the horizon and were putting in place a complex plan for when they decide itll happen. He suggested that the only reason it hadnt happened already was the amount of resources being used for growth in the U.S. Were really excited about rolling that out, Khalek said.Further afield, the GAMA Aviation CEO also said, Were relaunching the Africa business, without elaborating, before concluding that the company has a well defined strategy, partly through organic growth and some by acquisition. He suggested that consolidation must continue, and GAMA has a list of possible opportunities that it is pursuing, but will not risk rushing and doing the wrong deal.Aircraft-wise, the company will not purchase any more aircraft itself, but will keep those it has on long-term contracts such as the Scottish Air Ambulance (King Airs). But this special missions part of its business is something he hopes to expand on an international basis. Were looking to use our experience in new opportunities."

Surging upwards today Great start to the week. Does seem like that large trade has cleared an overhang.Anywhere from 250p-300p would be appropriate for starters on this recovery given 26p EPS this year.
Just tipped by Simon Thompson... [link] bottom line is that with the share price on the floor, and the rating so low, I feel that the risks are more than balanced by the potential for Gama to outperform my most bearish assumptions, and ones that not even city analysts are making. Reassuringly, the share price seems to have found a floor at the 150p level and looks poised to stage a rally from heavily oversold conditions. And thats why I rate Gamas shares a trading buy at 165p ahead of the first half results due out next month. My initial price target is 220p, and if that is surpassed the next technical resistance level is the 250p support level that gave way in late May".
Moving up at last Blue ))Perhaps the 10k at 153.5p this morning has cleared an overhang.Consensus remains at 26p EPS this year and 28.04p EPS next year, with 2.22p and 2.26p dividends respectively.Far too cheap at 158p imho.
Re: Oversold ? Went on holiday after the referendum vote and missed out on some of the post Brexit Vote Scare bargains around - including the GMAA dip to around 150p.However today tightened my charter jet seat belt to invest another grand at 169p to get my average down to just below 200p here, which hopefully should be rewarded.Would it have been better today to go for more Easyjet at 1113p or IAG at 418p,.we shall see.BTW Gretel have you averaged down ?
Another earnings-enhancing acquisition Another good-looking earnings-enhancing acquisition just announced:[link] a great deal, with £0.7m EBITDA acquired for only £3m.These "privately owned Gatwick based businesses offering a full complement of airworthiness management services" offer great continuing income in a growing sector and at a growing airport (which may or may not benefit exponentially if Gatwick wins and Heathrow loses re the new runway).
Re: Oversold ? Today's RNS confirms my comment last week that the GMAA sp had apparentlyfallen to a 52 week low for no apparent reason. OK, it is well known that us small PI's are often the last to hear of any bad news but in this case this is a re-assuring statement -----UpdateThe Board of Gama Aviation plc notes the recent decline in its share price. Gama Aviation published its results for the period ended 31 December 2015 on 21 April 2016, since that date there has been no change in the Board's expectations for the performance of the Group (on a constant currency basis) in the current year to those expressed at that time.-----I intend to keep my seat belt loosely fastened here until we see 300p again.
Re: Oversold ? There is a dividend payable at the end of the month too. Can't understand why sp is sitting at 52 week low figure. Did anyone attend the June 3rd AGM and pick up any negative vibes, other than PoO rising ?-----Gama Aviation Plc, one of the world's largest business aviation service providers, is pleased to announce that at its Annual General Meeting held yesterday, all of the Resolutions proposed were duly passed. The Company will now progress its capital reduction plans in order to create sufficient distributable reserves to be able to return cash to its shareholders by way of dividends. Subject to the completion of this process, a final dividend of 2.5p per share will be paid in the week beginning 18 July 2016 to all shareholders on the share register at the close of business on 1 July 2016. The ex-dividend date will be 30 June 2016. -----DYOR etc. but still looking to me as worth a punt around the 200p level. - SJ[link]
Re: Oversold ? Last year there was a trading update on 7 July. Hopefully there will be one around then this year.It may be best to hold off doing anything until then.
Re: Oversold ? The price has slid through the 220 support on very low volume, seems there's no buyers, is this stock just off the radar or is there something else afoot? I'm tempted to average down but until there is some sign of buying pressure this could keep falling, thoughts?
Oversold ? Made some money on Hanger8 a while ago and have been watching GMAA since the merger.Looks like someone has bailed out here recently - for no apparent reason other than needing the money ?Decided to have a £1K punt here today and picked up 478 shares at what I think is a bargain price. We shall see.....
WH Ireland initiates:Buy, 340p target News today - good to see. 340p would be a start...."WH Ireland Starts Gama Aviation With Buy Rating0810 GMT WH Ireland initiates coverage on Gama Aviation with a buy rating and 340p target price. Says organic growth will be driven through the expansion and extension of services, and Gama has the potential to be a market consolidator."

In return our involvement gives Gama Aviation a turn-key solution to operate helicopters that may be owned by their business jet management clients.â"
Single-figure P/E now Forecasts here are now: this year : 30.03p EPS, 2.8p divi next year : 32.82p EPS, 3.1p diviThis stock is now absurdly cheap against a 265p share price imo assuming GMAA merely trade in line with expectations.Especially with more acquisitions likely from a solid Balance Sheet.
