Morning Star is Back Online I had so many emails going back and forward and though MS gave me links to find some info they where not as good as what was lost, so I’d almost given up hope. Then around 2pm today the old webpages reopened. This screenshot shows Capital Research & Management Company’s entire GKP holding at 11,170,867 (4.97%) after selling -8,557,960 which includes the 5,031,088 Capital sold several months ago. The amount of GKP Shares the Capital Research & Management Company now holds includes 11,039,263 the New World Fund holds and 131,604 Shares another Fund of Capital Management Company holds. (we once had the name but time has taken the info away, so I will look for the name) Screencast.com 2020-02-06_1925 Shared from Screencast.com This screenshot shows the American Funds New World Fund holding 11,039,263 (4.91%) after selling -3,526,872 American Funds New World Fund new GKP holding after their recent sale of 3,526,872 which left the New World Fund with 11,039,263 (4.91%) Screencast.com 2020-02-06_1955 Shared from Screencast.com

Shaikan Payment Update @adrian.pollard, We have two useful pieces of information that might answer the question you posed: 1- We know from the media that the Export pipeline was shut for maintenance for 8 days from 09/09/2019 to 06/10/2019. i.e. oil was produced and exported for the first 28 days of September for all oil companies operating in Kurdistan including GKP. 2- We know from 2019 Half Year results published by an RNS in 10/09/2019 that the average daily production from Shaikan for the first 8 days of September was 39,921 bpd which was up from August’s average of 39,269 bpd: image.png712x61 3.69 KB Given the above, and assuming the daily average was maintained up to 28/09/2019 (if not actually continued to increase; why shouldn’t it be?) we have the possibility: Total September Production = 28 (days) X 39,921 (bopd) = 1,117,788 barrels of oil and overall Daily September average = 1,117,788 / 30 = 37,259 bopd On the other hand, noticing that GKP gave the monthly based daily averages for 2019 in its January presentation with an accuracy of one significant digit after the decimal point. This suggests that the daily average for September is between 36,950 to 37,049 bopd, which is a much narrower range than the one you proposed. So, as a matter of fact, the GKP given figure is slightly less than the figure calculated above. This may be because GKP shut its Shaikan production on day 28/09 a couple of hours prior to the shut down of the Export pipe which caused a loss of c. 7,000 barrels or may be something else only GKP knows. Best Regards @ValueSeeker8

Shaikan Payment Update Could the difference not be down to or at least in part to the Sept production figure looking like its a rounded number? July looks accurate to full 5 figures, it would be very unlikely that Sept is exactly 37,000 rounding could mean that its anywhere from 36,501 to 37,499! Not sure that that calculates out but would make sense to me.

Shaikan Payment Update Mikey, we do know the monthly production figure. The company told us the average daily production figure for Sep and we know the number of days in Sep, so we can calculate the total production. The calculation worked for every previous month in 2019 to within 1%, so something has to be different this time to explain a 7% drop in gross income. Switching off now and will wait for next payment to see how that fits in.
