I am not a mining engineer, nor expert in Gold. I am a dreamy investor with hopefully a sharp instinct for success.Can any one provide, IN PLAIN AND UNDERSTANDABLE ENGLISH what this likely to mean........in terms of size of deposits...in marketability terms. Is it another EG???Would Newmont know all this and be likely to be interested??Is this going to shoot the SP skywards ??Has GPP moved up a notch as an explorer?Where is it all going to end.??Tig

RNS! The MMI and gravity survey results indicate that the Havieron target may be significantly larger than we previously expected. Results of both surveys suggest that historical drilling by Newcrest at Havieron may have only intersected a small part of a potentially large, north-west trending mineralised system that may extend for up to 1.5 kilometres. Moreover, certain pathfinder elements detected by the MMI survey support our view that Havieron is an Iron Oxide Copper Gold ("IOCG"
system. "We are very pleased with the gravity and MMI results at Havieron, and believe that these low-cost techniques can be deployed next year to screen the multiple prospective regional IOCG targets previously identified by Greatland (see announcement dated 17 August 2017.

Re: Getting twitchy now ! Newmont could be examining the possibility of only taking part of EG that they have surveyed so far, leaving the rest for further exploration by GGP. And which Newmont might take on board at some future time. Area of EG is quite huge, as big as Essex County...another line of thought ?

Re: Getting twitchy now ! If NM are considering making a signifficant investment they will need time. During this time a low / stable share price is also important. It might make more sense and be cheaper in the medium / long run to simply purchase GGP. Buying sections of EG would increase the share price significantly over time and take quite a bit of time to administer. The competition would also step upSitting tight and waiting!
