Re: Onedb1 Keeping an eye on this one hi 1947I have been quietly accumulating , I like the sector. eSports is not huge on mainstream media but amongst the Youtube many channels, the figures are staggering . Money is getting really big . Even Bet365 covers betting on eSports. Insane . even I play to relax ! Am no kid either lol I totally agree with you vis a vis Wray . I have a list of very top investors (sometimes they lose too ) and Nigel is one of them . I will add a chart here soon , but this is another long term trend in the making IMO I will show where i took some profits and why , I have space to add here and will note the level on my chart . I also want to add . Will post later tonight or max tomorrow The good thing is that this does not move hyper fast so can afford to take it easy here . Prue beauty ! I was doing something similar on a good team in Volvere , backing them since about 400p . Wise in my view to follow TA for trading and to add a screener for the top investors and remember who they are every day / week Well worth it
Re: Onedb1 Keeping an eye on this one Hi Onedb1,Nice to see a well respected name from PMO here. I'm wondering whether you've decided to buy in yet? Hope you will post and include your TA gems. All much appreciated!I'm swayed by the quality of the major shareholders - especially Nigel Wray who was a major player in Impellam's success and who has a 13.56% stake. Quite a commitment.Nice to see that Neville Upton as co-founder of the company retains 9.26%. Also Hargreaves Hale have 9.13%. Again, a decent wedge held by a respectable outfit. Then there's Mike McTighe at 3.18%.I know nothing about Charles Street International Holdings other than that they have 29.98% of the shares, are Hong Kong based and otherwise anonymous. Also 12.5% of the company's shares are not in public hands. All that amounts to over 77% of the company not available to the market and makes me think that most of the goodies are being kept tightly held!!I bought a modest holding yesterday with a view to buying more if things go well. Not my usual bag but ....................... as the saying goes - "the one thing you always know, is ............... you never know!!"47tc

Re: Keeping an eye on this one The bb here is very quiet but this has doubled since my 2015 interest . Nice I can see potential for a typical cup and handle here too. So if we do get the post 'lip' congestion area (I.e. The handle) the breakout of it could signal a nice buying opportunity . I will be more active here if volume picks up too . Am a huge fan of geeky eSports so it helps too

Re: Keeping an eye on this one What a refreshingly frank post. I have a small investment, well under water now (like all my AIM stuff). The growth is indeed astounding, and things are looking altogether positive. What amused me about the results statement was the lack of thought about profit, and the total focus on growing the numbers and improving the product, but, more seriously, they actually appear to be planning to run out of cash quite quickly, so I was hoping someone else might have a suggestion how they will get round this. The only thing I will say for GFIN is that this appears to be a reasonable price, and the company seems to be successful. Whether any of that success will reach the shareholders is the question.
Re: Keeping an eye on this one Hi CS Am not in yet . Your numbers taken the way you present them are obviously correct but exclude growth Growth in he sector is gigantic . I have quite some experience in this sector and if they get it right then the rewards will be enormous . For now am getting all the info I can on Gfinity specific . I mostly look at oil ( stocks , futures , cfds etc ) and property as my 2 favourite sectors, mostly trade too , am a swing trader and do momentum trades too with mixed results on this latter strategy . But have also long term plays and have been keen to join an eSports play as I have not just an investment banking background but a gaming one too Will post if I buy in All the best onedb1
Re: Keeping an eye on this one Indeed. It just puzzles me how the numbers are going to add up: they lost 3.6m last year. They have 2.7m in the bank. They just raised 1m: result, 100,000 in the bank this time next year if we are lucky?
Keeping an eye on this one The whole sector is growing at a staggering rate and shows no signs of stopping Revenues up 163% and I can only believe this rate will continue to remain very high in the foreseeable future Small company for now , and today they raised £1m which was predictable , but its a million that will be used well in my view and given the revenue increase and investments made it will get interesting pretty soon The negatives - current share volumes/traded liquidity is one for sure .Cash balance , and ways of valuing such a stock by many , as many will not see this in the same way a Nasdaq investor would . Also many don't have Gfinity on their radar . I have this firmly on my watch list as this could easily be 5/10 times bigger in 3 to 5 years maybe sooner . The sector is just huge .
Re: Large buys. Sorry £48,000 Buys.
