Interim results These are poor. A loss per share of 0.24, and a note that there is potentially 'a strain on the Group's current cash position.' To rub salt in the wounds they are also talking about buying a private gold explorartion outfit, because they want its management on board.I have decided to invent the word 'shisaster' to cover this. It is derived from 'shambles' and 'disaster'.

Re: It's a long time since..... He does not hold. Read it properly

It's a long time since..... ... I looked in on here. Not much going on, or so it seems, but that's not the case over on ADVFN.Over there is a discussion including comments on shareholdings by Ian Visagie and Demetri Manolis.Given my lack of attention, i'm not sure that I can add much, except to comment on the shareholdings. There was a suggestion the Demetri held no shares but he certainly did via personal and family trusts.CyprusSteve - who I used to talk to about this share at length from the time of the original listing - sums that point up well in his posting below.Steve can't remember the trust names but from memory - don't shoot me if i'm wrong - the names Kilo Trust and Perseus Settlement (Run by Artemis?) come to mind. Speculator>>CyprusSteve 15 Mar'15 - 18:40 - 9174 of 9174 Hi Kim.Your posting 9170 - there is no nice way to put this, but when you say "Manolis didn't hold any shares" - I know for a fact that is patently incorrect.I have followed GDP since its first day of listing, and at that time, on the old website, Demetri held an astonishing approx 60% or more of the Company in his own name.Subsequently, he transferred all those shares into various nominees accounts - I forget the names and I honestly can't be bothered to spend time looking them all up - his shares were transferred into funds for trustees and family - therefore they did not appear under his name on the shareholder section of the website.Artemis Trustees Limited as trustees for Perseus Settlement 56,090,000 53.9%Artemis Trustees Limited as trustees for Kilo Trust 18,170,000 17.5%The above are DM !!!!If there are any others here who can recall the very early days of GDP, and the shareholders declared at that time, they will be able to verify what I say as factual. If you look on the iii board for Goldplat, and go back to the very first posting, when I actually opened that bulletin board, you will see it referred to many times.Up to you if you believe me or not, but I know for sure that on the early days of the GDP website it was openly declared that Demetri owned something like 60% of the shares.Any others here who were interested at that early stage will be able to verify what I am saying.RegardsSteve

Re: COUPLE OF NEWS STORIES Cheap oil cost must be improving the bottom line at GDP, oil now below $50 a barrel.

RNS Not withstanding yesterday's RNS that Goldplat, our debt free gold recovery business is on track to report operational profit for 2015 today we hear that a Mr Martin Ooi has upped his stake to 6.876 mil shares (4.10%), looking brighter especially if gold price holds up and increases. Anyone know who Martin Ooi is ?

Larry_the_Lock 16 Dec 2014

Price Before anyone starts panicking at the supposed fall have a look at the trade data here and live data at MoneyAM. The whole market is down again but most of my portfolio is like GDP you have to wonder who is doing what to whom and with what ? lol

Re: Anyone know? Goldplat GDP.. Appears to be starting to make higher highs. I think we just need one small tick up to stop us getting a double top today. I am sure if we see strength in the Gold price over the coming days, this will all be profit going to the bottom line of GDP profit and lass account. If profits start to expand with higher Gold prices we could see a return to dividends being paid. IMHOAnyone else got any views on the current situation?
