Re: ItÂ’s not always what you know but who yo... Just out of interest searcher what personal reasons could there be for not posting on this site .I can understand a reason for not posting on a particular bb ( eg this one )Thanks for any knowledge you might share with me .
Re: Its not always what you know but who yo... Did he give you an idea of timeframe?
Re: ItÂ’s not always what you know but who yo... still about then, just not posting
ItÂ’s not always what you know but who you know Its not always what you know but who you know, and today I met a very nice chap who, i have spoken to many times, but never had the privilege of meeting due to the fact he spends most of his time in Asia and lives at the other end of the country, he was once a very popular poster on these boards, (RG), but for personal reasons is no longer able to post at the moment,...... all I can say is, that I am very pleased I have the holding that I do
Re: Ok so where do we stand now That goes without saying nest. What do you think the point of these bbs are ? and why do you read and post ?
Re: Ok so where do we stand now You shouldn't base investment decisions on what faceless posters say on these BBS. So it matters not who he is . AIM is as bad as horse betting anyway.
Re: Ok so where do we stand now Well we do not each other "from Adam" on these bb.We can make judgements from what people have said in the past readers need to be vary wary of posters who comment on just one thing.
Re: Ok so where do we stand now Because I know the country and the project and continue to take an interest in it. My other investments are less speculative and far less interesting!
Re: Ok so where do we stand now The only one you wish to share comments on then why ?
Re: Ok so where do we stand now Good heavens NO!
Re: Ok so where do we stand now Thanks Phulbari. Is this your only investment ?
Re: Ok so where do we stand now Hi Ripley - Not Bangladeshi, but I know the country and the project quite well and I follow it because I am invested in it. I want it to succeed as much as anyone else. I post here to add balance to what appears at times to be a bit of over-optimistic hype.
Re: Ok so where do we stand now Phulbari.I see you have been posting here for years and you do not post on anything else. Are you Bangladeshi ?I know there are protests about this company are you part of that.No criticism just curious.
Re: Thats a big wedge Of course, nobody was there to ask him why Asia Energy's investment, and that of many long-suffering shareholders, has been systematically ignored for more than a decade!
Re: ...a Knight's Tale... Rickyroman - I have never had any problems with Asia Energy or GCM, and like everyone on this board I dearly hope they come up with a deal. My problems remain with Bungladesh; I have no faith in the political system in the country and - even with the Chinese knocking on the door - I cannot see how it will come good for us as long as Hasina sits on the throne. That has been my consistent message. Simple as that.
