Re: Class Action - Gallant I would be pleased to join/contribute to any class action.

Re: Class Action - Gallant Thanks. I also reported the matter on ADVFN and similar interested numbers there.I also reported to Sharesco, their Deputy Chairman sent an email saying he doubted our action would succeed but he is keeping a name of interested shareholders including amount of shares, email and telephone addresses.I'm not doing any more at this stage until I have received the promised advice and have a firm willing to go for it on a fully contingent basis ie it won't cost us anything so why not give it a go, despite all the well intentioned advice to the contrary. At this stage it would be logical to give the law firm details and invite people to contact them direct.Even giving it a go would make me feel better, even if the only outcome is to further tarnish GT's reputation...More to follow when I have it.

Re: Who did Costis sell to ? "Do we know yet -I don't recollect declared volumes of 40 mill +."Just re-iterating what others have said.Forum did increase their stake significantly not long before suspension so they could be the major buyer. We don't know when Coistis sold - it could have been over a longer period than the news releases suggest.

Re: Who did Costis sell to ? No one yet knows when Costis sold!It first came to light i believe in his statement at the Meeting on Saturday that he had sold circa 40million sharesLSE.CO.UK shows the figure but has no attributed price so i don't think they know and there was no formal RNS either.[link] could have sold in the previous week, month - we don't know

Re: Who did Costis sell to ? Dave - when did Forum buy? Where did they find that number of shares?

dave297 29 Oct 2015

Who did Costis sell to ? Do we know yet -I don't recollect declared volumes of 40 mill +.Only an II,or very wealthy PI could afford those amounts & they will clearly be very unhappy & , we should imagine, extremely embarrassed .

Re: Class Action - EDWIN COE "As stated earlier I will provide the grounds in a few days. I'm told the Nomads are safe because they report to the Stock exchange, not members, unlike the auditors. Seems we can go after Costis if we manage to freeze his account holding the share sale proceeds"You can confirm for yourself that this is not correct by reading the audit report section of the accounts:[link] In particular:"This report is made solely to the Company'smembers, as a body, in accordance with Chapter 3of Part 16 of the Companies Act 2006. Our auditwork has been undertaken so that we might state tothe Company's members those matters we arerequired to state to them in an auditor's report andfor no other purpose. To the fullest extent permittedby law, we do not accept or assume responsibility toanyone other than the company and the Company'smembers as a body, for our audit work, for thisreport, or for the opinions we have formed."You will also find that you have no statutory ability to go after Costis' cash as you do not have the necessary legal "locus". To the extent that he has committed fraud it is a fraud against the company, not a fraud against the shareholders and hence the company can pursue him but shareholders cannot. Shareholders could consider pursuing a derivative action under the companies act but given that Globo themselves have already commenced action then shareholders would probably not be given leave of the court to pursue him.
