Possible Relisting A good article and probably hits the nail on the head.[link] due diligence.
Vote No -in order to Resurrect Value Its hard to envisage what with the prevailing low share price levels that the last fundraising on Fusionex was actually conducted at 325p per share. Its now about 1/8th of that. Personally I just cannot see those share holders or in fact any other investors happy with the present 42.5p state of affairs.I would expect them and indeed all others to vote a resounding "NO" against de-listing from Aim. In that way there should be some semblance of a restoration of value. In fact its almost worth topping up to gain extra voting power and I'm surprised that the NFU or others haven't done as much just to make sure they block things. My proxy NO vote is signed and submitted already.Make sure yours counts.Own due diligence
Proposed Delisting 75% needed for this delisting to go ahead. The directors are committed to 42%. The other 33% is quite a substantial amount needed to be obtained both from private investors and other financial institutions. With the share price down to the level it is now at, nobody is in any hurry to sell at that price and take the losses. It is far easier to fill in the voting form for the EGM and vote against the proposal to block the delisting and keep the share tradeable on the AIM market. The excuses given by the directors for this decision are partly down to themselves. Shares move on news and they have not been very forthcoming in the past.
Re: Good Value Lets see what happens.Private company or Aim listed I will still have a stake in a very good company.Though I don't think they will, if they do get 75% I'll be happy to let them run it without Aim expenses and deliver me dividends and a higher valued company.Heres what Shares magazine thought only a few months back. [link] shares have value and Fusionex is worth more than £25M.Own due diligence
Re: Good Value one way- I do like your cheerful sense of optimism and hope that you are proved right butfear we may be the losers as Spec believes . Whatever the outcome if you're a small PI there doesnt seem much sense in selling at this price although its many seem to be doing.I dont think I will bother buying any more but just hold on to the small number I have andhope for the bestMy previous sad experience with being done over like this was with Cosalt and the connivingDRoss.
Re: Good Value onewayticketI admire your optimism! If they do get the 75% then these shares are basically worthless
Good Value I do like undervalued shares.Present falls now have this highly successful company valued at just over £25 million and with a P/E ratio now of just 15.Do I think they will get the 75%. Probably not. In which case things should over time adjust back up.Lets see what happens.Own due diligence
LOOKS LIKE ITS ALL OVER? Well tradingup on the face of it I think you could say that, but I notice a lot of medium trades today and one at 9.0am for over £54k and I then read this [link] so the options that I have is to hold or sell at a 70% loss with shares delisted from AIM selling at a later date will be hard. The issue for me is that the company is expanding its sales and would have potential so holding and waiting for this power struggle to pan out may be better than a fright reaction to sell.
LOOKS LIKE ITS ALL OVER? De-listing from AIM announced after the markets closed on Friday and consequent 60% drop in the sp this morning. some talk about a scheme to allow pi's to sell their shares in a matchedmarket but other than that it looks as though were facing a near wipeout? Perhaps someonehas other thoughts.
Cheap compared to its peers The Edison research ([link] seems to show this company in a positive light. I have been watching this share for a few months now but I think it has now turned the corner and we might now be on an improving trend. Lets hope so anyway as I have just dipped my toe in..
Re: Results There's some chat on LSE; google LSE chat FXI unfortunately its mostly holders trying to ramp the share (and not succeeding).
Re: Results I did indeed miss that. There is usually plenty of chat on boards or articles online to explain market reaction to results. Couldnt find any this timeI think it is quite sneaky, the only place mentioned is CONSOLIDATED STATEMENT OF COMPREHENSIVE INCOME.Cant see any mention of fall in profits anywhere else in report, or any explanation for increase in expenses.
Re: Results Yes, you missed the fact that expenses have more than doubled wiping out profit and earnings per share decimated from 58RM to 3RM ! See the CONSOLIDATED STATEMENT OF COMPREHENSIVE INCOME in the results.
Results Was there something I missed in the results, havent read any opinions or analysis online that suggests anything. The results and revenue growth looked impressive to me, and share was already at low valuation.
NEW ARTICLE: Why is the Fusionex CEO so excited? "Big data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) or the Internet of Things (IoT) are just some of the technologies that are transforming our daily lives. And yet, for investors, there appear to be precious few ways to ride the next wave of the ..."[link]
