Re: FORTUNE OIL PhilipYou should have received the cash from the majority shareholders when the takeover completed some months ago. The certificates are now worthless unless you need them as proof of previous ownership if there is a payout on the CVR.If you haven't received the cash, contact the registrars Capita, and give them details of your certificate. If the latter is the case hang on to the certificate(s) until it is sorted. Hang on to them anyway until the deadline for the CVR next March.

Re: FORTUNE OIL If everything was fair, we would get a lot more. IMO

Re: FORTUNE OIL Roger thanks for reply , so I have a share certificate , how do I cash it in or what do I do ? ThanksPhilip

Roger Baron 09 Dec 2015

Re: FORTUNE OIL Yes. We got 10p a share from the majority shareholders and the very optimistic think we might get a bit more from them but that won't happen without a legal challenge.

Payment of CVRs Approximately three months left for the conditions to be met allowing the payment of CVRs to former shareholders. If memory serves, they expire on 6th March or thereabouts. Good luck to all.

CVR FTO minority action. Hi GuysJust back from the Algarve. I've just gone throu' the emails for the last week and found 3 relating to the FTO minority action, this is something I enquired about but like Bravon wasn't comfortable with. Each of these emails relate to the difficulty contacting the instigator of the proposed action Alan Mercer, having signed up and parted with their subscription to the proposed action. While I'm not suggestion any wrong doing it does show why these schemes need more than an email address to convince me to part with my hard earned cash.Regards Jag3

Re: CVR BE MORE SPECIFIC Hi PeteIn my portfolio, it is just listed as (DUMMY CVR). I think it is as Bravon suggests, or as I said in other words, just a book-keeping exercise to keep everything in order. It really means nothing to me now - If it has any value, I will be shocked as much as anything else. They are just not going to give away anything that they don't have to. Hope that helps

CVRs I think it's all just a matter of how the various brokers record stuff. My experience is the same as Roger's .... with Barclays there's a dummy stock entry, which annoyingly they show with a residual cost equivalent to the original purchase value, for which I have already been (more than) paid out. With H-L there is no entry for the CRVs on the Holdings Statement. My guess is that HSBC just recently decided that, as it is an asset, they ought to show a record.None of which is relevant to what the CVRs may or may not be worth. On the question of reporting share sales, I would assume that there is no requirement since, despite the existence of the CVRs, FTO, having been taken private, no longer comes under listed company rules.CGH currently 11.06, so may well be a lot higher once the market sorts itself out, and before the 12 months is up. 'Just wait and see' remains my view. B.

Re: CVR BE MORE SPECIFIC On Barclays Stockbrokers account it is showing as "Fortune Oil (Dummy Cash)" and value is shown as N/A!I think it would be more correct if, under value, it stated "no chance what so ever".

Re: CVR PLEASE BE MORE SPECIFIC Letter from HSBC dated 3/09/15 and I quote:" As a result of the merger of FO plc with Fortune Dynasty your account has been credited with 214000 new FO contingent value rights, " Equivalent to my original FO share holding.I live in hope. TEOS.
