Question I have asked before but don't understand why does price quoted on this site differ so much from site quoted on BBC site?

So the question is what is a promise note for 5p which is never likely to paid worth? The market is at the moment saying it is worth nothing, so my tactic is to hold and treat as a free bet on a 3 legged donkey in the grand national. If the market started to value the share + Promise note at 11p or above (promise note started to be worth a penny or more I would think about selling as it would more than cover dealing costs and might pay for a meal out.)

Guess Fortune Dynasty must know by now if they have the votes and may have done all along , so no news is probably not good news, my guess is they would have increased the bid if they had any doubts but good luck all anyway

my shares in nominated account, I just phoned Barclays, took less than 5 minutes to do.

I would phone your broker or if shares in isa then phone who ever runs nominated account. in my case barclays. I agree there was no box to tick on the forms I had. BOD really don't want a no vote and I am sure they will have made sure that they will win the vote ,before they put it to share holders.

I think we get the 10p, bur are unsightly to see the extra 5p. I have vote no to the change, but it is probably a done deal and this will be the end of my ride with FTO. Certainly not the worse of the shares that I have bought.

I received same note. I phoned barclays and have had an email confirming my no vote. But unfortunately I am sure that it is a dine deal. Even so FTO has been one of my better shares and much better than all the thousand of little AIM oil shares I have bought in the past few years

Barclays- Just received corporate action letter from Barclays to be completed by 24 Feb asking if I want Cash or Loan note , anyone else received this does this assume its a done deal?

My view is voting NO is win win if they get majority still get 10p if they don't the offer will increase.
