Yes. Good news. Hopefully a precursor to the take out. Although I suspect any offer will struggle to clear 120-125p range. Based on current oil prices and in terms of premium to current SP that would still be a great outcome. Very much hope to be proven wrong though...
Watch out - Delek about! RNS just out - Delek adding to holding. Now hold 15%+That's up from 13.8%.Faroe are going to find it hard to fight off an offer from Delek if pitched at the 150p level.HUB
FPM AGM next tuesday I think management will be delighted with the prelim details on Brasse well ahead of the AGM. Should make for an enjoyable shareholder meet.Would be great if they can deliver the DST results before Tuesday's event (assuming they are good of course).Eitherway, I would expect an updated presentation and possible trading update on Tuesday morning or possibly Monday.Free's up AGM for good discussions without concerns over sensitive market info etc.HUB
Re: RNS It's a great result. Faroe is not an overly popular stock with pi's so the BB tends to remain quite balanced and quiet. Quite refreshing really!DST results to follow next week or day after assuming the crack on with that immediately. Flow rates get markets more excited than oil shows, although that depends on the pi interest I guess!Brasse is beginning to look like a very sizable field and within easy tie back facilities.Faroe looking good.HUB
RNS Looks like good news to me. Surprised that this particular forum is so quiet.
Faroe drilling with Deepsea Bergen, next month [link] news with drilling next month according to the article
Drilling Permit granted [link]
Re: Shares / Directors Brasse drilling is the main near term catalyst and spud date should be around June/July.It's part exploration and appraisal so could be mixed bag of news although I think the odds on it being a huge success are higher than normal.Assuming OPEC extend cuts in late May and Brasse comes in good - I see FPM testing 150p+ in Q3/4 2017.HUB
Shares / Directors It's refreshing to see a company such as Faroe with Directors who don't have an insignificant share holding/future options.I'm optimistic about the 5 year outlook and potential growth, so have sold elsewhere to move a sizable chunk of my portfolio funds into Faroe.Cash situation is good and I like the management team.....I've had on a watch list for years, so finally good to be on-board! Good luck all.......
Re: Big drop today Welcome aboard Disorder!! Good to see more and more of the BLVN gang coming here (winnet had a nibble here last week). He probably made more money here than the last 3 years in BLVN! One thing for sure is that management here are 100000000 times than the bowleven leaches (or should I say ex bowleven blood sucking leaches). Easy money to be made in Faroe ... enjoy the rise and the ride!!!!
Re: Big drop today The absolute easiest explanation:I bought in....Everything drops when I buy and rises when I sell. I prefer to believe its transfer of wealth from the impatient to the patient.Plus add to that large money moving the markets whichever way suits them. Not everything has a rational reason.
Re: Big drop today There has nevertheless been a swing of approx 6% in 24 hours with no obvious reason either for yesterday's rise of 2% or today's fall of 4%. I don't find Hub's email a satisfactory explanation. Sorry, as he often makes good sense.
Re: Big drop today it's a drop on a daily basis but it's up on a 3 days basis. You can't look at stock one day and ignore the last few days of progress. You can tell the market is reluctant to see the commodity sector rebound. PoO has put on a near 1% rise today from earlier lows. On a week basis it's up nearly 10% from lows.Quite a few pi buyers absent due to ISA plans and market generally feeling cautious going into first risk event of the year in the french elections.Faroe might fall another 5% tomorrow - who knows? But that's still above recent lows at 88p.Overall, it feels a little quiet out there and volumes are reflecting that for sure.HUB
Re: Big drop today I don't really see a reason for the drop. I plan to watch closely over the next couple of days and top up with 5k if it gets below 94p.
Big drop today What's happening? Rather like PMO yesterday, no obvious reason. No rns.
