Re: Changes to FML website 'Yebbut, m8, that was the whole problem wasn't it? You can build a leach pad the size of Ur of the Chaldees but, if the acid can't get tore into the clay, you won't get any significant amount of copper out.'.................Hymen you sound like a stuck record, you're not so naive to think this is still a problem? Let me guess, because the company said so? Yet you don't believe a word the company says? It's obvious that they have taken the company to the brink to get the outstanding stock on the cheap.I can't help thinking of you when I see this:[link]
Re: Changes to FML website Yes, but it was the same clay ore that they managed to extract more copper from previously, with much less stacked ore, so that argument does not hold water (pardon the pun).Given the statement from Adam Maloney that the clay problem was no longer an issue, it would be reasonable to assume an increase in copper production.I presume he was happy with the results, since he became a shareholder & still is.We shall see, in the fullness of time, as a chancellor once said.
Re: Changes to FML website Dotty,"I find it strange they sold so little copper last year, given the photos showing the massive leach heaps they built."Yebbut, m8, that was the whole problem wasn't it? You can build a leach pad the size of Ur of the Chaldees but, if the acid can't get tore into the clay, you won't get any significant amount of copper out.Face it, AIM is a magnet for mining shysters. Not ALL AIM mining companies are wrong uns but a significant portion ARE wrong uns, especially those ones where the mines are miles out in the bundu where no-one from Blighty ever goes. Unless one has a particular handle, inside track, or expertise with regard to a specific company and/or a specific management team it would be sensible to avoid the sector completely as the probabilities are just loaded agin you. Here endeth the lesson.LKH on the flybridge investment adviser to the gentr
Re: Changes to FML website Walbrook may prove to be correct. If the company was bust, why go to the trouble & expense to delist? They have not gone into administration. The coming summer will answer many questions about production.I find it strange they sold so little copper last year, given the photos showing the massive leach heaps they built. Then again, they took care never to reveal how much copper they actually produced last year.I suspect, the delisting was planned for some time.I had the same experience with ACE. The company collapsed out of AIM & is now flourishing.I continue to hold 10m.
Re: Changes to FML website I'm holding on to 3M. This has been by far my biggest investment disaster to date. Fortunately, thanks to other holdings, I have just about broken even. Can't help thinking that if only I had ignored some of the earlier jokers ramping on this site, I would be so much better off today. Same goes for Walbrook, they were telling me right up towards the end of last year that there was absolutely nothing fundamentally wrong with the company (other than massive debts of course) and that future production volumes would resolve this.
Re: Changes to FML website Would be interesting to know how many have kept there shares and how many we have in total. Kept mine if only for the fact that was not worth paying to sell them
Re: Changes to FML website LKH. It tells me they have removed all the compulsory info that the London stock exchange required the company to show, re a publicly quoted company. None of which is now of any use, now they have delisted. My main interest is, since they have taken the time to maintain & update the site, they may continue to do so & thus be a source of useful info for people who retained their shares.H.A.N.D.
Re: Changes to FML website Dotty,"The entire investor section has been removed."Yeeeees .... doesn't that tell you something about their attitude to the poor saps who "invested" their money in this ubermunter?LKH on the flybridge
Changes to FML website The entire investor section has been removed.Hopefully, by updating the website, they intend to keep & maintain it.The next info of note, will be any signs of restarting of operations, following the winter shutdown. This normally happens during April. Hopefully, this will be released for public consumption.
Re: Just checking... GG,"NEOS, ahhh, was that the über munter that tried to turn plants into some sort of oil? Or am I mistaken?"That was the one, m8. Used to be called D1Oils, formed by a wide boy to make diesel out of a horrible weed called jatropha. He made chumps out of BP, the United Nations, 10,000 Indian subsistence farmers, and Lord Ron of The Bicycle Clips (chairman of Shell Transport and Trading, believe it or not). But he didn't make a chump outtaLKH on the flybridge saw through him right from the get go

Re: Just checking... GG,"Few companies employ people to remove bulletin boards"Well, someone removed the NEOS bulletin board which had YEARS of wonderful craic on it, and now the history of how that sad sacka cacka had the eyeballs ripped outta it is forever lost.Oy vay!LKH on the flybridge
Re: Just checking... Yeah phil,My understanding is that the way it works is that there has to be a certain (undetermined) period of time during which no posts are made. If gadgies continue to post on the board it will remain active ad infinitum. Few companies employ people to remove bulletin boards, lets face it, web space is dirt cheap and it''s not exactly a money spinner and who can be ahrsed anyway.GG...and that's that
Re: Just checking... Medusa mining MML was delisted may last yr that discussion board is still active & used...Phil...
Re: Just checking... Not sure how long it will last !!
