Re: The company and the open offer My limit buy just went through @ 1p 11.54 pm .So that not so good now.
Re: The company and the open offer well you can not buy them for 1p on the market today . i have often brought a share only to see i could of got in cheaper next day . time will tell
The company and the open offer Ripley, you made a big investment in a company you'd never heard of? Very brave. Basically you've invested in a bog-standard utility company which supplies gas & electricity into customers homes. When you say another poster told you the technology had failed, if you mean the boiler technology, then yes, it appears it has. Some quotes from the RNS's:"the Directors are pleased to confirm that the Company has successfully reached an agreement with Jabil that will terminate the Jabil Contract on mutually acceptable terms and at a significantly reduced cost for the Group." (they're paying their manufacturing partner £4m to cancel the manufacturing agreement)"the Flow Products' microCHP boiler is currently uneconomic in the UK market. Accordingly, the Directors have concluded that Flow Products should limit its focus to ongoing pilots of the microCHP boiler in select European markets where financial support offered potentially favours microCHP through various installation and other available incentives. At the culmination of their strategic review, the Directors also concluded that the current uncertainty around the FiT made it a sub-optimal time to consider a sale of the Flow Products division and that the Company would incur significant costs if it were to exit the business.""Following the proposed termination of the Jabil manufacturing services agreement described above, the Group will exclusively pursue European commercialisation of its microCHP boiler with its existing European partners in France, Germany, Italy and Belgium or possible sale of the microCHP technology. The Directors expect pilots to start in Europe in the last quarter of 2017. On completion of the Fundraising and following the downsizing of the microCHP business described above, the Directors' primary focus will be on continuing to develop and grow Flow Energy, the Group's residential gas and electricity supply business."Can't sell it, so sounds like they'll wind it down, or at best keep it alive until someone decides to buy it (for peanuts?), and give them a cheap exit.Cmintball and Emerald Carrots, you're going to have an opportunity to buy shares at 1p in the open offer. If it has an excess subscription facility I suspect you'll be able to buy as many as you like.Good luck to holders, even bog standard utility companies can make profits.Artji
Privater investors are so valued. Quote from yesterdays announcement:"The Company values its private investor base and is therefore opening the Offer to investors exclusively on PrimaryBid.com and the PrimaryBid app from 5.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. on 24 May 2017. PrimaryBid Limited is acting as sole arranger for the Offer."They value their private investors so much they make a special arrangement for a small subset who are registered with PrimaryBid. I for one do not feel valued, I feel cheated. Why was this done and with such a small opportunity to participate. Smoke and mirrors come to mind and I will not invest any more in a company which values me so highly. I will hope my current investment will ,in time, get back to break even.
Re: 270,000 gas customers Thanks Emerald another poster has informed me the technology has failed and its a barge pole.Do you know what time it closed , before heading for leisure center, primary bid guy on phone said they had plenty and i could leave it until i returned at 8.30 pm . Decided not to do that and applied very quickly hope i do not regret lol Possible you will pick up for 1p today ? in which case that would be better .
Re: 270,000 gas customers Hi,If your in @ 1p then IMHO you are on a winner to say the least. Will see.Good luck. All IMHO.
Re: 270,000 gas customers I took part in fund raise and quite heavy for me.Only had 10 mins to make my mind up as had an appointment at 5.30 pm and not heard of this share before. Jarvis joining primary bid i took as a positive , and Tom Wiinnifrith gave thumbs up. so took a gamble. Bit of a wait for shares 19th June if its passed at meeting on 12 June , think i read major holders are backing . fingers crossed
Complete U turn as major share holders were dumping their shares in a big way. Sp had fallen from bid price 3p to todays bid price 1.1p.So the major share holders were dumping IMHO because the directors were going to SELL the public gas and electric supply division (nearly all the Group) to plough the proceeds into the boiler that also produces electricity, and hopefully roll them out in Europe AFTER failing in the UK!!!!!!!!!!!!Now they are almost doing the opposite! THAT IS GOOD as the share holders who dumped may well be getting back in.......................................Tomorrow will be interesting.I can see this over 2p by 9AM.All IMHO.
Nuts! Window to buy 4 HRS only from Primarybid. It was from 5PM today until 9PM this evening. That is crazy I may have been interested as well. Very annoying.
Re: Anyone buying? Not me!!!It's very hard to take this company seriously. One minute they're concentrating on selling the energy business to focus on the massive potential of the CHP side of things.Oops, no one wants to buy it. Now they're undertaking a huge placing to allow them to build the energy side, while winding down the loss-making, no potential CHP division, "Directors are pleased to confirm that the Company has successfully reached an agreement with Jabil that will terminate the Jabil Contract on mutually acceptable terms and at a significantly reduced cost for the Group".I wish it was as easy to spot winners as it is to spot obvious losers.Artji
Anyone buying? RNSFundraising of up to approximately £29 million to re-capitalise the Group.Bertie.
Re: 270,000 gas customers n/c
270,000 gas customers See RNS:-[link] sp has crashed from bid 3p to bid 1.1p now.Reason IMHO.They have decided to sell their gas supply business to finance their gas boiler roll out, the boiler also generates electricity. They said if they don't sell it there will be a huge placing @ around 1.5p.IMHO some major share holders simply do not agree with this and have/are dumping their shares. Thus something like 60% down from when the news broke Thursday 11th May.Seems to me this is a crazy fall. The 270,000 gas customers must be worth I would guess £100 each one over time??? OK guessing but that is £27 million. Market cap at ghe moment £4 million. My point is the sp is down like this Co. is going bust. I can't see that happening plus the current sp is simply mad IMHO.All IMHO.
Re: New price. Have we hit the floor? I would do some research to see if you can find something cheaper than grass to eat. LOL!Actually I've taken a gamble here & bought some. Risky, yes.I think they will sell their energy business. That alone IMHO will put me in profit as far as the sp goes. All this political price cap blah blah has been going on for years and guess what...... us consumers are still paying too much and until labour get in NOT MUCH WILL CHANGE. The conservatives will win the election. They will have an investigation (yet again, yawn.....).They will do something minor that will ensure all the energy companies make enough money to invest and clear, what 15% profit or something. They will sell this to the public as doing them a favour as per usual. the public will end up paying about the same as they do now. Simples! All IMHO.
New price. Have we hit the floor? So now we know. Tony Stiff has a strategy. He wishes to keep the company afloat with further fund raising. Previously he has closed companies, but this has potential. He cannot off load the steady but boring energy business but appears to have faith in the on-going European trials for small scale electricity co-generation with the Flow Boiler. The new floor price is 1.5 based on what i have read about the new share offer. Still a gamble but probably worth investing.DYOR.I may risk my hard earned cash again and won't sell at this price.
