High dividend replacement 3 weeks ago I bought these for my annuity portfolio ( a selection of 10 shares designed to pay a 5% dividend) what can I replace it with? Aviva will drag the payout below my target.

lambrini girl FLG Chart Breakout, very positive For once I agree with you, assuming that the FLG SP matches the offer price on Monday morning + any remaining divi for the year. How are your QPP shares faring?

Re: FLG Chart Breakout, very positive we are now completely tied to the aviva price so question is what will the reaction be to aviva price on monday morning as our 'offer' will change every time that goes up or down.I'm presuming its unlikely any other bidders will emerge

Re: FLG Chart Breakout, very positive >We get 15% on SP and yield drops from 6% to under 3! Good deal for >Aviva bad for us! Why are FG board recommending deal at this price? The answer may be that you have to look around (internally) within FL and ask the question.......can that 6% be maintained? If I were a FL shareholder I'd say a big thankyou and exit..........

Re: FLG Chart Breakout, very positive plus not good for AV. so that will tank over next 6 months..SELL on Monday bounce..

Re: FLG Chart Breakout, very positive Sell! My wife has a small ISA holding yielding £220 total. With the share swap at 0.74 per FLG she ends up with 770 yielding around £120 pa. No brainer!

Re: FLG Chart Breakout, very positive Good point, I tend to agree. I will probably sell as soon the 14% hits the price, probably on opening, and look for another +6% yielding share.

Re: FLG Chart Breakout, very positive For me I think its a case of take the money and run. I am highly fearful of the changes to annuities.Everyone will want to draw money down ( I certainly will).

cashpharma 22 Nov 2014

Re: FLG Chart Breakout, very positive It says so in the rns if you include dividend and value share (whatever that is).

mtap 22 Nov 2014

Re: FLG Chart Breakout, very positive Which in my book is not enough. We get 15% on SP and yield drops from 6% to under 3! Good deal for Aviva bad for us! Why are FG board recommending deal at this price?

Proverbs 26 vs 5 22 Nov 2014

Re: FLG Chart Breakout, very positive FT has it as 15%

mtap 22 Nov 2014

Re: FLG Chart Breakout, very positive Where do you get 28%? .74 of Aviva Friday close is 398 which is 14%, I hope I'm wrong!

cashpharma 22 Nov 2014

Re: FLG Chart Breakout, very positive Oldjoe1Delighted for you but some of us have existing capital gains on this stock and have been earning 6% dividends for a while. Now we get another 28%.How lucky is that?

cashpharma 22 Nov 2014

Re: FLG Chart Breakout, very positive 28% premium! Thank you Aviva. Given the uncertainty over the annuity changes this is very welcome news.
