Outstanding results. Shares trade at around 61.7 times earnings at time of writing based on todays results. Fever-tree have a first mover advantage in a market they they are essentially creating. They are experiencing significant domestic growth and making good progress internationally. Robust balance sheet and benefit from an extremely strong brand (this IMO is worth a tremendous amount in itself).I have questioned many bars and hotels in the UK and abroad and the recurring theme is that they will only serve Fever-Tree with their premium gins. Premium gins are on the rise [link] on my analysis of the company fundamentals and the wider market trends, I have much conviction that this has a lot of upside still.Unfortunately a lot of investors will have been whipsawed this morning in early trading on irrational fear. This is all IMO and please do your own research.Best,Investoholic

The results were in line with analyst forecasts after the company upgraded its targets three times over the last year.Fever-Tree said it has made an “encouraging start” to the new year, and is looking to take a larger chunk of the wider mixer market by further expanding beyond its focus on mixers for gin. The group already sells mixers such as Sicilian lemonade and Madagascan cola alongside its flagship tonic waters.Fever-Tree’s premium offering has benefited from rising numbers of adults cutting back on alcohol, and a shift toward artisanal spirits among those who are still drinking. The company also announced today that co-founder Charles Rolls will move from an executive deputy chairman to a non-executive role after the company’s annual general meeting in May.it is looking toppy and sales are important to maintaining the high flying nose bleed SP.

Missed the boat - and I drink the stuff How annoying is it that I've been drinking Fevertree tonic for the last 18 months, whilst the SP was rocketing. Totally unaware it was on the stock market. (

Re: 15.40 I think so, and hope so. The international market is huge and they only really seem to be starting to make headway. Then there is a high chance of an offer coming in at any time, especially in current times as the pound is so cheap.

Chicken Lips 13 Mar 2017

15.40 So OK we touched £15.40 today. I was getting a nose bleed at £13. Is there a top end to this and how far can it run. Is the £17 per share broker quote achievable? Wow

Gin Exports at record high- Guardian Exports of British gin surged to record levels last year, reaching nearly £500m.Figures from HMRC show exports of the juniper-based spirit rose by 12% to £474m, outperforming exports of British beef and soft drinks. The increase is mirrored in domestic gin consumption and a rise in the number of new distilleries, a trend noticeable enough to spark a gin-based storyline in BBC Radio 4’s rural soap The Archers.“The quality of the gin combined with the world’s love for brand Britain has seen British gin breaking records both at home and abroad,” said Miles Beale, chief executive of the Wine and Spirit Trade Association. “Britain is by far the biggest exporter of spirits in the world.”Gin exports have risen by 32%, or £114m, over the past five years. The WSTA predicts that 2017 exports will pass £500m within the year at the current “meteoric” growth rate. The US displayed the biggest thirst for the spirit, with Spain the largest importer in Europe, although Britons still drank most of it.Domestic gin sales hit £1.1bn last year, with the equivalent of 34m bottles sold last year, an increase of 12% on 2015.[link]

Re: 1700 price target Wow.....Outperform 1700 (I thought 1300 was high)Fever-Tree got a boost as RBC Capital Markets initiated coverage of the stock at ‘outperform’ with a 1,700p price target, saying the long-term trajectory is robust.“Premiumisation of spirits, market share gains of premium mixers versus mainstream and strong execution will be instrumental to delivering double-digit growth for the foreseeable future, whereas the impact of sugar tax and Brexit should be highly manageable,” the brokerage said.In addition to the company being well positioned for growth in its established markets, RBC highlighted plenty of opportunities and white space in what Fever-Tree classifies as Rest of the World, which currently makes up only 5% of the group's sales. As far as the UK sugar tax is concerned, it said this was not a major concern, with only about 29% of the company’s sales falling under the tax.“Given the premium nature of the brand we think the company is in a good position to pass this on to the consumer if needed.”Meanwhile, in terms of Brexit, RBC said the company’s asset-light model gives it the flexibility to easily outsource its production to continental Europe in case of a ‘hard Brexit’ with trade tariffs. At 0848 GMT, Fever-Tree shares were up 4.7% to 1,410.75p.
