Re: Sector Your comment made me have a quick look comparing Fenner with BRWM, which I use as the mining sector. Interesting for the first 6 months of the last year BRWM's share price pretty much tracked perfectly Fenner's 200 day EMA, but in the last 6 months Fenner has left it behind. Of course Mining is only one part of the Fenner story - admittedly a very significant part - so why should it be? I guess the mining sector in itself largely reflects mineral prices; whilst Fenner's performance is more related to the volume produced by the mining sector. Subtle difference, but maybe it goes someway to explaining the difference.

Sector Sector is doing well but Fenner's rise is well ahead of the sector. Good to see the market has faith in this growth story.

Re: Trading statement OH:"I had been watching the sp slowly slip "Markets view Fenner as being related to the mining industry, so (with the lack of any other guidance) when minerals are weak and miners slip, Fenner go down with them. That's all that has been happening in recent weeks. Of course in reality although the mining industry is important to Fenner there are far more strings to their bow; and I do like the implied optimism of the BoD in this release.
