Inv. Chr. - Frontier Developments reaching new Frontiers - 14 Sept 2018 - BUY recomendation BUY RECOMENDATION BY INVESTORS CHRONICLE - TODAY Very positive in depth article, (and saying the decline in SP was ‘extreme’ and not justified and an overeaction). If someone has access to the digital Inv.Chronicle, would they be so kind as to copy it on this thread, (Page 58). They mention China regulatory changes being a bit of a dampener but that they are only FDEV’s 3rd largest market. Last para, ‘The market for video games is in the midst of a global boom and Frontier - supported by highly experienced management and a substantial investment from Chinese tech giant Tencent - is ideally placed to benefit. Recent share price weakness offers investors a rare buying opportunity’.
Nice tree shake this morning, not lasting long So I topped up after looking at a few of the new movie clips on utube which I think will be a blockbuster and good for the game of course. I'm not a gamer but will buy it and cross breed some Tyrannosaurus with, well I'll have to decide when I get it...
gretel is a gem - well done again... The biggest shiniest gem in a huge box of brightly shining gems.Happy June 1st, and again thank you for all your posts.Very happy to say that I have invested in many of the stocks that you contribute to, hey who needs stocko anyway...
FDEV added to MSCI small cap index FDEV have as of last night been added to the MSCI Small Cap UK index (see p.8).This will undoubtedly have brought in some institutional/tracker interest (as it also has with ACSO), though of course the rise is also largely connected to JWE et al:[link]
Huge trades however A few people out there were buying very big time...
Wow! That's a big rise today...On a small volume...
JWE game getting great coverage Lots of coverage today of this...sounds pretty impressive - and remember it won't be too long before we get to hear the name of the new franchise to follow up JWE....[link] building game Jurassic World Evolution gets new developer diary videoBuild your own Jurassic ParkWednesday, May 23rd 2018 - 112 BSTDevelopment studio Frontier Developments has released a new developer diary video for its upcoming dinosaur theme park building game Jurassic World Evolution. The game releases in June.In Jurassic World Evolution players will be able to build their own Jurassic World, bio-engineer new dinosaur breeds, and construct attractions, containment, and research facilities. In the game every choice is said to lead to a different path and spectacular challenges arise when "life finds a way."Jurassic World Evolution will release on June 12th, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game is based on the 2015 film Jurassic World."
The Film, The Game, The Trade show all in June Frontier Developments' new Jurassic World game set for June release (ShareCast News) - Videogame developer Frontier Developments is set to launch Jurassic World Evolution alongside the release of the franchise's next film and the opening of a major industry trade show on 12 June. The game, which will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, has been created in collaboration with Universal Pictures and is now available for digital pre-order on all platforms with exclusive content available for gamers who order early.David Braben, chief executive of Frontier Developments, said: "This year's E3 Expo coincides with the launch of the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom film and it provides a perfect opportunity to invite videogame and movie fans at E3 and around the globe to build their own Jurassic World."Players will enjoy the voice talents of Jeff Goldblum, who reprises his role of Ian Malcolm in the game, and can take control of operations at the franchise's iconic setting of Isla Nublar, constructing their own park, bioengineering new breeds of dinosaur and building new attractions and facilities.Does anyone know the dates for each, maybe the Film and game on same day?I'm not a game player but I might buy the game as it looks so good. The SP is rising steadily - well in chunky leaps over past 2 weeks, I wonder if it will keep on until release - and then what will it do? I think the film will be a blockbuster if that term is still used...
Re: Where now for the SP? The whole area is prime for growth. I don't think Tencent bought just to double their money. Target market massive. New features and functions etc. VR/AR.Wouldn't want to guess where it will get to or when. Patience needed but 2x Tangent entry at least, perhaps?
Sp getting higher is very good news as it means there is still market belief that investing at this level and price is worth it regarding where it will go post JWE. There were a lot of trades going through post 16.30 on friday at full ask price.
There are very few whispers about what the next franchise will be. Back before JWE was announced everyone waa pretty sure that it would be a JW tie in, now though, nobody knows! Possibly some form of star wars game? Putting their knowledge of galaxy simulation from ED to use in a fantasy universe. That would be very exciting.
Hi all. I bought in at 650 back before the jurrasic world announcement. Im an avid fan of planet coaster and a big fan of frontier as a developer. Im not sure what might happen to the sp short term, it still has a long way it can go, but then it isnt immune to market manipulations and tree shakes. If it does dip i would strongly recommend holding! This stock will fly.
Where now for the SP? Any ideas? Seems to be edging higher towards release of the new game...
Well done Gretel for all your posts You are so much better than RNS's...!Nice rise todayTERN seems to be taking a well deserved breather...This is about the 5th time I've bought FDEV, sold at profit but just should have kept them since I first bought...mm
