Blue 26% up Good move. Lots of work for FCR in 2018.
Another nice blue day It's all about the potential of the assets .... which will win out in the end. DYOR.IMO.GLA.
Re: Re: Fair comment. It is so long since I looked properly at this company I had no idea it had shrunk to such a size. You have to wonder whether it is worth retaining a quote . I am sure they could raise funds privately without the hassle of a quote.
Re: Oh come off it !! its a 50% dilution. The company is only worth £2m, how much did you expect them to raise ?
Re: £1m Placing and Next Steps [link]
Re: £1m Placing and Next Steps It seems a very small amount of funds to raise. I would have thought if they were going to place new shares it would have been appropriate to raise significantly more.
£1m Placing and Next Steps £1m placing - most shareholders knew it was coming - the question was how much. 1. [link] and the supporting presentation:2/ [link] what are FCR going to do with £1m? In simple - two stages Stage 1 - drilling along strike - basically to discover if the asset can be increased in size from 16mt inferred resource. If it can then this could end up similar in size to CAML's purchase in Bulgaria. Stage 2 - Aim to increase confidence levels in the core from Inferred to Indicated, and crack on with the PFS.Given the market does not care much for inferred in terms of valuation then stage 2 is a good move. I was hoping they would not perform stage 1 - due to the cost - but I also did not think they would get £1m. I was expecting a £200k raise which would have been ****.At lease we will now get the chance to see how big this could be.
Re: Some positive price action again tod... Ha ha yes did someone say this had bottomed out, they clearly dont know FCR, its been dropping for nearly 8 years and its never bottomed out yet.Oh well at least now they have some cash, i expect Birds mission to dilute all existing holders to oblivion is under way with this 50% dilution but with the Issue fast heading for 5 billion most of us will be lucky to see any sort of return now unless you keep topping up and you know what they say about falling knives.
Re: Some positive price action again today More positive price action today!
Some positive price action again today Did FCR just put in a bottom? Either way, the market needs to understand next steps asap. What I find interesting, is there are companies that are in the exploration stage, with less cash (hard to believe!) but higher market caps. FCR has 16.1mt of inferred resource Zinc, Lead, Silver and the market will look at it more favourably when it starts going through the phases to move from inferred --> Indicated --> Measured.
Nice Blue Day 10% Up Good to see. However, we still await next steps from the BOD. We know the asset has potential - based on the maiden JORC - but there is a long way to go before its real potential is released in the form of increased value to shareholders. The immediate question involves funding for the scoping study. If the asset is as good as the JORC suggests then there should not be a problem in funding the next steps, and the directors should participate in that funding. If they participate then I would expect the market to respond Accordingly! Make no mistake this is a long term project but if FCR pull it off then this will be one of those rare junior Miners that have exploited the asset that they own into a significant world class play. Im strapped in for the ride which could take 2-4 years before we are really sure where its going IMO.
2018 I reckon 2018 will be the year that finally forces companies to up their game when it comes to raising cash. The asset a company holds really needs to be something that grabs the attention of the market. No more easy placings will be a good thing for AIM. Survival of the fittest. Let's now hope that FCR can prove to current shareholders, and potential new shareholders that the Toral asset has the potential that it appears at first sight to have. For companies with an asset that has not got a JORC 2012 or NI 43-101 - just a good hunch that there might be some mineralisation in the ground, I think things will get even more tougher as they burn cash through with no real independent validation of the resource.Any company that does not have directors with skin in the game will find it tough to sell their message. Let's see if the FCR BOD put skin in the game in the form of investment. They currently take no salary which shows commitment but the market needs more IMO.
