Re: What next? WSI, I agree, it is well past the time the company should have communicated their updated plans to shareholders, - assuming they have some plans rather than merely being reactive. freelance

What next? P.G. gone. W.H. gone.Tendrara gone. ( Probably the reason for asset P.G.s exit ).Ireland on hold (for how long and how long before this lapses?).Offshore Morocco PROVIDED SK innovations elect to participate. (if or if not)? Not good reading. What does this leave?Come on Fastnet tell us what you are working on or how you see it!Anyone like a good guess? P.

its just my opinion but its based on three things... First, Boldy from LOGP stated at the LOGP AGM that the faminee for BR was interested in taking a "regional" approach to the farm in possibly involving FAST...(his words)... the other thing is that PVR stated in Feb that the farminee was sourcing finance for Barryroe and beyond...finally, we know from PVR that they expected (imminent is how the CEO described it) the farmout of BR to be completed in Q4 2014, you might recall that Paul Griffiths and Will the CFO were quite vocal that the FAST Celtic Sea format would be done by year end 14, early 15...I think the potential farminee might take a much bigger acreage than just Barryroe...

bit of activity today,I still think the activity at PVR is related to FAST...

+ or - This is not going anywhere until we hear something positive from management! P

Re: Good to see some life today Ok But I remain of the opinion that most were expecting the farm out pre year end and that some in management ( hint those who have been removed ) were over selling the timeframes . Oil had been declining so they should have managed the expectations a lot better .But that remains just my view . Hopefully we'll get that farm out soon

Re: Good to see some life today Not attacking you at all, mate. I was doing exactly what you were doing ie teasing the over optimistic nature of our original farm out plans !

onedb1 04 Feb 2015

Re: Good to see some life today OG, Never said they were a joke since I posted here on this bb . I believe in the Celtic Sea play , and am happy that oil is recovering and seems to have found a bottom . What I was teasing was our farm out original plans . They turned out to be over optimistic . Read before you attack me - look at my post on Mon at 14.51. Or my posting history re the Celtic Sea assets

Re: Good to see some life today Might not be a joke like you reckon it is mate, our celtic sea assets are not to be sniffed at at all in anyway!

onedb1 02 Feb 2015

Good to see some life today plus Brent shaving $55 ! Puts things in a more stable situation for the majors hence our Celtic Sea asset has more of an opportunity of getting farmed out ( at some point ) lol

Re: 3,4p is the cash balance here . I get the feeling Carol is working hard in the background to make a resounding success of this share. I never expected to see any more presentation docs fron the company but she has thrown one at us which is a clear statement of her intentions, however I some how believe that they still would be going for the East African block just to guard against the sort of oil price games we were subjected to recently.

Plus since seeing Will H at various presentations I am VERY happy to see him go ! GO Carol !! The guy has zero CFO credibility ! I have managed divisions with over £100m in expenses and have never seen any CFO like this Will H / Gosh some people must blag their ways in jobs . I am glad that he has gone , not to mention he was way to confident and over playing the Celtic Sea, before Christmas, play . That misled many am sure, and should never have happened . Surely he should have spotted that oil prices were tanking back then and that confidence in closing a deal was not true back then. Not to mention his disappearing act at the last presentation in London .. . not good . So now we have a further saving in the G&A . Good job Carol . PS I like this part of our CS assets. 49 /13• Heavy Oil recovered in well 49/13-2• Close proximity to Kinsale facility• Potential activity on adjacent block, 49/9-2 Helvick OilField (Middle/Basal Upper Jurassic)• High API oil - tested at 10,000 bopdThat later point at some point could really be a gigantic winner for such a small market cap as FAST . A recovery of costs plus some would be nice and a free carry agreement . Am I asking fro too much ? lol Just staying patient here

Re: 3,4p is the cash balance here . I agree , sorry for the delayed response . If no one else takes the licence and no one wants to spend the money on it again , it makes no difference for the time being whether we have the licence or not . FAST has done all the work and was readying for a farm out . So once they feel a partner can be found am sure the licence can be renewed . I don't see others taking the licence away for now . Good rally today . Oil is recovering well back above $53 Brent and went over $54 today . No news from Celtic Sea but who knows if we get a surprise . Rig prices have tanked and we have one nearby too / Double good news / I am still averaged at 3p so prefer to stay long and see what our board and directors will do . This far too severely beaten . Today's buys are probably agreeing

Re: 3,4p is the cash balance here . Same goes for deep kinsale for which they possess the 3d images! So the lapsing of the option on the 31st Of March, similarly might not signify the end of that licence!

onedb1 29 Jan 2015

3,4p is the cash balance here . Even with G&A of $2m we are still looking at 3p end of year cash balance this 2-22p level is severely sub cash balance and values , Celtic Sea and offshore Morocco at zero . I wonder if once we get some stability and clarity on oil prices , I wonder if they will re-apply for the Tendrara licence . They have done all the work , have all the data, and whoever will be interested in the future would clearly head to Fastnet first . So despite not having the licence anymore the reality is that it may not matter at the moment as no one is investing in it or has the data . So once market resumes to higher oil prices , I just wonder if they will re-apply for the licence , find a partner and bingo release the value . In other words it may actually be not bad not to have the licence at the moment . All my own conjecture , I am actually long at 3p myself
