Up 8.7% this afternoon - why? Something going on here. Hard to believe a couple of trades totalling only £3,642 were enough to drive SP up so much. Unable to find any breaking news on EXI to explain rise. Anyone else seen anything?

big drop not been following EXI for a while , I did hold and make some a couple of years back but at these prices Im tempted ..BUT.. is there some skuduggery going on behind the scenes? any news appreciated
Why 7.64% SP rise today I suppose it might just have been that there was very this trading on shortened last trading day of year. Could not find any news to explain today's rise. Anyone got any theories to explain?I note SP up 124% since May's low, no doubt because of rising oil price. Not really been keeping up with news on EXI. Have they got anywhere trying to sell the company? I'm down 65% and at current price am holding in hopes of more recovery in SP.
Aug prod report Out Fri 9 Sep[link] to see a share I own that is up today. Far too much red around. EXI +7.09% today! Not sure why it is up so much today. I know there have been talks between Russia and Saudi. Fall in value of ruble must have helped to keep costs down. Feel I have missed something.
Re: Infographic comparing EXI and AFR The two aren't the same though are they.
The stock is dropping like a fly. I wonder whether the truth about majority owners' link to function list's person? It only takes a couple of years! link: [link]
Infographic comparing EXI and AFR I found this report that compares Exillon Energy and Afren PLC, pretty interesting. [link]
Re: One to buy and tuck away? me too but I do not like their location.. the SP reflects that. This is getting interesting now.. my prob is I hold a few too many oilies for my liking . if it goes to double digits.. i may be forced to buy some and tuck away
One to buy and tuck away? Always liked EXI.No debt, performing asset, what's not to like.
Re: SP up 9.3%, no news Commercia your £1.45 sounded like an amazing deal a few weeks ago ....how fast things change... Good luck
Re: SP up 9.3%, no news jeez, I will buy back in here again but will wait for sub 90p in the new year or sooner? if sooner I may wait till oil price finds its ars*
