RNS Board changes Looks like a few board changes are getting their ducks in a line for when the product goes live. That's how I see it.Obviously the negative investor would see it as more money wasted?!I think not.HOLDMaverick
Re: VR show in the Business Design centr... Interesting but you could look at it another way?Why waste your time going to a VR show chatting to people looking for business and business ideas/ synergy when you have a product that the likes of Warner have seen and want to invest in?At this stage its all about focus.I used to be in Petrol retailing and go to all the shows back in the 80s. Guess who never had a stand? Esso and Shell.Maverick
Re: VR show in the Business Design centre in London Maverick, The VR show is taking place today through to Saturday at the Business Design centre in London. Guess which VR company has no speakers presenting and has nothing whatsoever to exhibit at this prestigious event? see: www.virtualrealityshow.co.uk/speakers/And: www.virtualrealityshow.co.uk/on-the-showfloor/Any VR company that's doing anything is there but MelodyVR are nowhere. Hard evidence right in front of your nose that EVRH is simply hot air. regards,JakNife
1. That's how I see it, if we all followed the same strategy markets couldn't exist. As for me being a poor investor buying 1 million shares at 2p I admit is one of my poorer decisions2.My mistake it was rRomeo another investor ramoing Jubilee3. Lets wait and see shall we re news and share price? I have sell price of 14-20p. which according to your welcome comment ( but I disagree with) is not going to happen.Maverick
Re: jaknife Maverick,1. Wonderful, Facebook are "championing" VR and melody claim to be in the same space. If that's how you arrive at your investment decisions then I pray for your bank balance. 2. W T F R U going on about with Jubillee Platinum? Never heard of it. 3. Melody can announce deals with Sony et al until the cows come home but when they contribute nothing other than a big fat zero to turnover then it should be obvious that they're pointless.regards,JakNife
jaknife Actually I believe it does. It is championing the VR concept which Melody is at the front of the queue with music wise. I believe (rightly or wrongly) EVRH are at the start of a game changer here as to where we and how we view music for live eventing.Yes I know you keep posting sells and are very sceptical everyone has a point. If it falls and fails I will eat humble pie. I presume you will? (I note Jubillee Platinum your tip has fared worse?)If they suddenly announce more deals with the like of Sony I really do not think that they will be hanging around the 10p mark.As for me I am in at 2p,6p and 9p so happy to enjoy it.Maverick
Re: Next week is this week! Fingers crossed. Maverick,That article has nothing to do with MelodyVR whatsoever. The only tangential connection is that *IF* MelodyVR every get round to making their app available (that was supposed to be available last year) *THEN* lucky users of the app will have the opportunity to spend £500 buying an Oculus VR device and Oculus is a Facebook company.
Next week is this week! Fingers crossed. Mark Zuckerberg Facebook CEO Mark ZuckerbergERIC RISBERG/AP/REX/SHUTTERSTOCKAPRIL 13, 2017 | 11:53AM PTVirtual reality (VR) is getting a lot more attention at Facebooks annual F8 developer conference this year: The event, which will be held in San Jose next week, will feature a number of sessions and announcements related to VR. The company may also use F8 to show off the latest prototype of its standalone VR headset.Facebook is keeping details on any VR-related announcements at F8 tightly under wraps, something that one of the companys partners compared to Steve Jobs-like secrecy in a conversation with Variety. But the conference schedule already lists 8 VR-related talks and sessions.Thats not only four times as many as last year, it also makes VR the third-most-popular topic at the conference, based on the number of scheduled sessions. Instagram, WhatsApp, and even a topic as essential as monetization each has fewer sessions scheduled than VR. Some of the subjects on the schedule include social VR, VR gaming, and web-based VR experiences. But the company may also use the event to give developers a status update on its latest hardware efforts.Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced at Oculus Connect last October that his company is working on a standalone virtual reality headset that will combine some of the higher-end features of the Oculus Rift with the portability of the mobile Gear VR headset. We believe that there is a sweet spot between these, Zuckerberg said at the time. The Santa Cruz prototype, as shown at last years Oculus Connect conference. COURTESY OF FACEBOOKFacebook did show off an early prototype code-named Santa Cruz to developers at the event, but Variety has learned that the Oculus team has since been working on a newer version. One of the internal code names for this new prototype is Monterey, according to a source familiar with the project, but theres also a possibility that the company may use another beach town as its name.(Oculus named all of the prototypes for the original Rift headset after beaches close to its original headquarters in Irvine, Calif.; it picked Santa Cruz as a first public code name for the standalone headset after moving to Northern California following the acquisition by Facebook.)The standalone headset wont require a connection to a computer or the use of a phone to render VR experiences. It will also feature inside-out tracking, which means that it will be able to determine the location of a user in a room through sensors attached directly to the device, as opposed to the lighthouse-type sensor used by the Oculus Rift and competing devices like the HTC Vive.
Media Every time you open a paper now it seems that VR and AR are the buzz words that finally have some substance and interface that works. The Melody website is improving all the time adding info on headsets and the link for an early App test for users.I think more deals are imminent as mooted on other blogs and these with major market players so this is a HOLD for me and buy on weakness if possible.Maverick
