Mastercard outbids Visa I have another one where the price is above the offer OPHR but do not think the chance of a higher offer is as good as here ? But who knows not us pis anyway .

Mastercard outbids Visa Not the way id look at it i must have approx 40% remaining but if we do not get another bid i would think we had been smart selling some for more then the offer. But i have not got a good feeling about that.

Mastercard outbids Visa Down to about 1/3 of what I had. Remaining holding is still big enough that it will hurt if we don’t get another bid!

Mastercard outbids Visa Thanks for info… before me this time . How much have you left in it ? The constant rise makes me think the other party might be buying ahead of bid . Maybe both of them ?

Mastercard outbids Visa I will be very surprised if there aren’t 1 or two more bids. But bids so far are 30p, 33p and 37p aren’t they? Two more bids each adding 4p will still be below current sell price. That’s quite a gamble - 8p risk just to break even. I am optimistic but not confident that final offer will be above 45.7p. If I was confident then I would be buying more. I am very confident that when the last offer is made and the deal completed that there will be plenty of speculators with burnt fingers who expected one more bid!

Mastercard outbids Visa Your good Roger just got a live offer @ 45.5 but i regret selling Monday to me honest so did not accept. Not sure why your not waiting seeing you think there will be more bids .

Mastercard outbids Visa That made me check price Roger .“Latest just now at 33.7.†Sells still above my last slice of 45p since Monday . Thanks for reply as i was regretting the slices… after all these years carpet baggers getting more out of it then us long timers .

Mastercard outbids Visa Been steadily selling as price rises Ripley. Latest just now at 33.7. I have about 36% of holding left. Going to reduce my mortgage a bit now! Some big hitters have been reducing holdings so son’t see why I should think I am cleverer than they are. At this price there has to be a couple more bids before the winning bid is higher than current price. That seems quite a gamble to me so happy to be taking money off the table - and still leaving some on!

Mastercard outbids Visa You are brave Roger i was kicking myself for making the same mistake twice . What percentage are you down to now ? late comers who bought @ 30p recently have done a lot better taking time into it then us long time holders .

Mastercard outbids Visa Obviously regretting the numerous sales between 35p and (yesterday) 39p. Sold a few more this morning at 43.3. Crystal ball would be useful!
