Re: Bought some more today. problem is the insiders are well ahead of the gam

casabanker 30 Jul 2015

Bought some more today. I have just bought considerably more ENTU shares at 112.7 including dealing costs. I am assuming today's fall is due to ex-dividend day. I think the reason for the drop from 140+ was due to the fact that the management did not let anyone know that the first half of their financial year was going to be "soft". The order book is strong so it looks as though they are busy now and are trading "in line with market expectations". As we are now nearly three quarters of the way through their financial year, the management should know how the trading is going so I am hopeful the second half will make up for the first.Casa.

Re: Results Anyone know the reason for H1 2015 numbers lower than H12014?

Re: Results Yes - hold, they will come back

Re: Results Results were released early I think because of the recent run on the shares and rumour of profit warning. In the end the results were slightly down on my expectations but as you say the forward visibility for future profits is more encouraging so I will continue to hold for now.

Results Interesting set of results - slightly odd timing mind!!!Sell off from 130p looks like an over-reaction to me. Company doesn't appear to be over-exposed to subsidies generally (either through energy companies or govt), is on track to meet expectations, has little exposure to European VAT ruling and a reasonable net cash position at 5% of market cap. Order book at £30m suggest better forward visibility too.Second half traditionally better than first sort of suggests to me that I should expect to see 10-11p eps and with a 7.2% yield here. on 12-13* earnings 120-145p looks more reasonable - that would yield 6.7 - 5.5%, none of which looks massively out of range.

Re: Share price dive In the short term perception is much more important than reality. But reality should come next Wednesday, with the half year results which will presumably include an outlook statement

pmrleahy 15 Jul 2015

Share price dive I can only conclude yesterday + today's share price dive is the result of a Financial Times article noting that the Government is set to cut the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund entirely by 2017. We're probably also still feeling the effects of the ECJ judgement. See: [link] through the IPO documentation it is not immediately clear how much money ENTU makes from this deal. And to what extent would consumers go ahead with energy efficiency product purchases regardless of the funds anyway? I suspect the SP fall has been overdone given it was trading cheaply anyway.Any views?

Re: Today's price fall 8p dps due circa Oct. Say 6% yield. Easy to look up with minimal effort.

Re: Today's price fall And I thought the fall was due to ex-dividend... When are dividends due? Supposed to be so very very high for this company.

Double glazing benefiting from pension reforms According to tweets from a conference on the pension reforms today, commentators are saying that the pension reforms seem to be benefiting double-glazing more than fast cars so far. Good news for ENTU and SFE investors! This share is currently trading on a P/E of just over 10 based on 2015 estimates (which I think could be slightly conservative) with a 6% yield so plenty more share price action to come.

Impressive final figures A good start to life in AIM plus a special divi to boot. Entu look like a good addition to an ISA for future growth. Mc1

Re: Why transfer your holding? I should think that tax reasons will be the favourite reason for transferring his total holding. For a start, an 8% dividend will no doubt attract a 40% rate at least for Mr Kennedy whereas if his wife has no income, then the dividend can be received without the extra tax take. Let's hope the relationship stays strong. Casa.
