London buses... Acquisition of new business, significant new licensee and MD resignation.
Re: legal action I would still like to know the name of the Chinese consortium and the names of the members and to have lots more information on the other deals that were dangled but which failed to get off the ground..
Re: legal action Regarding - "Perhaps a lawyer could find some basis for a claim in the statements from the board." - I consider this unlikely as all statements are qualified with phrases such as "We believe that .." or "It is our expectation ..." - i.e. all hope, belief and cautious expectation, and nothing is ever claimed as will happen, going to happen, will come about, etc..This is true of all company statements not just those from ERT.
Re: legal action "Maybe we can drum up some other shareholders and get some ambulance chasers to put in a fat legal claim!!" - I do think we need to start putting more pressure on the board, but on what grounds might a legal claim be based?Unless we can actually prove wrongdoing, we would be wasting our time and money. However, in spite of that note of caution, if you read the Fraud Act, it is wide ranging and even simple statements which cause someone else to lose money can be classified as fraud. Perhaps a lawyer could find some basis for a claim in the statements from the board.I know of one company where the shareholders formed a group and put pressure on the board - Tiger Resources. Unfortunately I am not aware of how successful it was.Surrey0 - have you heard Tom Winnifrith's views on ERT?
Negative? I thought it was quite balanced lolThe company's management team should be ashamed and need to hear it! Hopefully the so called Executives 'Google' their employers name every now and then and read what investors are saying. They should take note of the dissatisfaction and untrust that their actions have created. All that nonsense about a Chinese deal - Another investor that i know has put in a lot more money on the back of potential deals such as those with the Chinese. I jokingly suggested putting in a legal claim against ENRT for intentionally putting news stories into the public domain that have no basis and then not supporting them or providing follow-up comments on deal progress etc. Maybe we can drum up some other shareholders and get some ambulance chasers to put in a fat legal claim!! It would be one way to wake up this company As a normal employee, i have to routinely report on my progress and actions on a daily, weekly, monthly, annual basis. This bunch of jokers can only just about manage to give an interim and annual update.... And even then, most of us are still no clearer as to what is going on.
Re: 5 months? why? Quite a negative post Surrey0.I used to get savaged for my posts which were much less harsh than yours but you are lucky that the cheerleaders have gone silent, so you should get off without a scolding.Quite negative - but spot on.My hunch, based on no evidence whatsoever, is that either -- this will fold and someone will pick up the patents dirt cheap in a liquidation sale. They will go on to make a fortune from the technology but we will have been scalped.- there will be some sort of refinancing and we get diluted almost out of existence. The new investors (buying massive amounts of new shares at the new lower price) go on to make the fortune. - another player in the plastics business makes a takeover offer at 0.05p per share - and gets it.All of this is just my mind wandering - but some of my past wanderings have turned out to be right. Several of my predictions came to be proved right - when did any of the cheerleaders ever forecast anything that actually came about?
Re: 5 months? why? I have to say this is one of the worst companies i have ever invested in. Shocking market performance, but the real pain is the lack of news and updates coming from the company. They seem to have no interest in shareholders or keeping the market updated with progress. The relatively new chap that most of you seem to have some faith in (Sir Clayton) should have realised that newsflow is a requirement for maintaining some normality to the market price. Pathetic management and poor advisers. Print out these posts and send it to the management. I could do a better PR job than these clowns.
5 months? why? On 4th August we were told "They are currently programming the robots prior to the commissioning of the plant."I cannot believe that it takes five months to train those robots. What are they writng in - hexadecimal machine code? Modern robots can be shown their tasks by example.I find this very odd - but then again, we have been told to wait just "a little longer" and that "a little longer" means a little longer.
Re: I'll bet ERT won't be involved in the di... So much potentail/applications. Needs some sales & marketing!
I'll bet ERT won't be involved in the disposal. Giant floating dam that promises to rid the oceans of plastic gets its first trial on open water[link] are the chances of a PIM solution to what to with this waste? Based on track record, my opinion is nil.
Floodgates opened? We haven't seen thsi much selling for a good while. Is there news out?Are people unhappy with the terms of the loan?
Where are the cheerleaders? Embarrassed into silence!
"a little longer" - for 0.11p ! 0.05p soon? I think, a few months ago, I made a forecast of 0.05p before the end of the year. When the share price held up at 0.15p for so long, I started to wonder if someone was accumulating - picking up any shares that got sold and so that was supporting the price. I now doubt that, and feel that I was a mug for trying to find some kind of bright spot on the horizon.Today's drop could be the start of the fall that I had expected before now so I still see 0.05p ahead, just a bit later than expected. This is all just chat and opinion and is not any kind of recommendation to buy, not buy, sell or not sell.
Only a few days left Before the year ends.In the Chairman's Annual Statement he said that the American company Waste Not should be in production by the end of this quarter, is this going to be yet another disappointment for the long suffering shareholder? I have been, and remain, a long term investor here, always hoping that announcements of this nature will not only come to fruition but each time, hoping that this will be the one to begin to turn the company around. I resigned myself to making a total, and considerable, loss on my venture, a long time ago ,having been aware that it was always going to be a gamble .Hope still remains that this baby will survive but its heartbeat seems very faint at the moment. However, Seasons Greetings to all shareholders, may each of you get the present that you most desire.
"a little longer" - a year later. I believe it must now be a year since we were told to wait "a little longer".What has happened in that year?Did the Chinese deal go ahead?Did the share price go up?Did any directors buy shares?Did we see the "transformational development"?And the cheerleaders had the nerve to scold me for presenting a more realistic picture than they wanted to see presented on here.
