Re: Turnaround Morning TP & jitter, Further to yesterday evenings post, I was puzzling over exactly what the Cinovec Licence is that Lithium Australia and Platypus are in dispute about. Just to add to the confusion, Lepico seem to own rights to the L-Max technology which, as I read it, involve the use of L-Max technology in the Cinovec Licence. Hopefully, it is the resolution of the dispute will allow all concerned to move forward and possibly can account for some movement in the SP..Raking through last nights websites, the Cinovec Licence over which they are arguing, Lithium Australia (LIT) considers that it has the right under the Cinovec Licence to use the same L-Max Technology in other projects. Bacanora? Macarthur Minerals? So what exactly is the L-Max Technology? From the Lepidico website, L-Max Technology is:- The Technology Unlike other lithium extraction processes, the Lepidico process does not require of significant amounts of land for evaporation ponds, or costly pyrometallurigical processing routes in order to extract and recover the valuable lithium.flowsheetThe hydrometallurgical Lepidico process involves direct atmospheric leaching of lithium mica impurity removal stages with subsequent lithium carbonate precipitation. It differs considerably from the processing of spodumene, which requires high temperature decrepitation and sulfate roasting prior to lithium recovery. This novel process is simpler and is expected to have lower energy requirements than existing lithium recovery processes. The processing of lithium micas also results in the production of potassium and rare metal containing by-products, which will significantly offset the operating costs of lithium carbonate production. The process has been extensively tested in a series of batch laboratory tests using ore from Lithium Australia and European Metals Holdings. The flotation of lithium mica from the pegmatite ore is a useful upgrade step and was successful, achieving high lithium recovery. Leaching of the lithium micas has achieved very high dissolution rates in relatively short leaching times. The results metallurgical test work program demonstrated the viability producing battery grade lithium carbonate and potassium containing fertiliser from the mica material.[link] refers.Interestingly, Kiran Mortzaria is on the Boards of European Metals, Bacanora Minerals and REM. David Lenigas is on the Board of Macarthur Minerals. All of which makes me wonder if the Sonora Pilot Plant Bacanora is working on in Hermosillo is being done under the Cinovec Licence. Macarthur Minerals next?Interesting times. YB
Re: Turnaround Evening TP,I've just spent half an hour typing up announcements which may account for the SP rise and I accidently hit the delete. I can't copy & paste apart from the websites. [link] Lithium Australia (LIT) update to Cinovec Licence and[link] Lithium Australia ASX announcent which touches on Electra Joint venture in Sonora with Alix Resourses.Amazing what you find out following the trail. Perhaps the dispute between LIT and Platypus over the Cinovec Licence has been resolved leading to the rise in SP not to mention, following the trail touches on REM,From Lithium Investing News, Alix Resources (TSVX: AIX) identifies lithium-bearing, clay-rich sedimentaryassemblage over a 1.1km distance at the Electra Project MexicoLIT recently advised it had earned a 25% interest in the Electra ProjectResults comparable with adjacent Bacanora/REM Buenavista concession.YB
Turnaround in fortunes today as the sp moves upwards for a change.Change in sentiment, people keen to get a foot on the Li ladder ?? Who knows ?But long may it continue.A bit of news wouldn't come amiss.TP
Re: Resource Investor article Something certainly appears to have kicked this forward a bitTP
Re: Resource Investor article Oops, not IKA, EMH and Cinovec.TP
Resource Investor article [link] to be unaware of IKA, But interesting nevertheless!TP
I'm perplexed by the recent sell off. Anyone any ideas ?? We were doing so well to get into the high 20s ((But I guess it's a good buying opportunity, it's just about back to where I started.TP
Re: RNS Morning TP,Just reposting my REM post,Today's RNS looks promising. I think? Kiran Morzaria's last sentence could be in plain English. Any guesses?Kiran Morzaria, Chief Executive of REM, commented:"The continued success of the drilling of programme at Cinovec is very encouraging for the overall development of this large lithium and tin asset. We look forward to reporting on the progress of the Pre-Feasibility study and the project milestones. We believe that the Cinovec deposit, if commercilaised could represent a lower quartile lithium carbonate producer, in particular due to the tin content and therefore credits contained within the deposit."YB
RNS Further drill resultsTP
Useful posts.. ....about EMH can be found on the REM board, for those who aren't aware REM have a decent shareholding in EMH as well as holdings in other Li and rare earth mineral companies.Worth a look if you haven't already.Nice to see the recovery into the mid twenties. Hopefully, when the European vote issue is resolved, the sp can move forward unhindered. I'm for staying in, warts an' all, it will certainly help with REM's stake in EMH if we're all in it together. Luck all, TP
Re: take profits Seems the profit takers have moved on. Almost back to last week's highs.Without news too !!TP
Re: take profits Looks like a few have taken your advice cas. Mind you, every where's a bit of a blood bath today.TP
take profits time to lock in those profits, still a long way to go on this one, will need funding and placing
Re: Just popped in ... Disseminating hype from reality is tricky when this company is only at an exploratory stage. Apparently sitting on a large lithium deposit but with no facilities in place to extract it, a valuation is guesswork and gut feeling. It will require a great deal more investment and time to start producing and no profits are guaranteed. At the moment I am riding the hype and will sell when I feel it is right for me to do so.
Just popped in ... ... to say "Hello" and to get away from all the hub bub over on LSE. I'd posted over there, some time ago, that we ought to be at 24p and it looks like we'll probably do that today. Where next ? I've been trying to get some clues from BCN's sp performance but it really doesn't help much ... bit like comparing chalk with cheese, really. Any thoughts ?GFD
