Re: News just out RNS this morning confirms
News just out 21 October 2016 OUTSTANDING LITHIUM RECOVERIES AT A COARSE GRIND European Metals Holdings Limited (European Metals or the Company (ASX and AIM: EMH) is pleased to announce the completion of the concentration testwork for lithium as part of the on-going pre-feasibility study (PFS. The testwork has improved recoveries significantly from those used in the scoping study which when combined with the lower operating costs of wet magnetic separation versus flotation will significantly boost the economics of the project.
Further drill results RNS today indicates near surface Li at good grades. These deposits will be the first to feed the plant.Pilot production continues with Feasibility Study completed by the end of next year.TP
Re: Topped up Given the failure of their takeover bib for BCN, I wonder if they might now have a shot at EMH instead. If they're desperate to ge into mining they'll want to be buying a mine and a few shovels, eh??TP
Re: Topped up Morning TP,Thoroughly agree with your reasoning. The other factor being the new Daimler Benz Giga factory being built up the road at Kamenz. About 50 miles away I think.I'm out at the moment with EMH, feel as if I've missed the boat. My holding in REM with their part of EMH keeps me in the game. With that US$15m to play with, wonder if REM will invest a bit more in EMH.YB
Topped up Took the opportunity, as a result of today's slight pull back, to have a little top up.Mercedes has just announced it is to join in Formula e. (BBC F1)They seem really committed now to accelerating their electric vehicle offering, so they'll need a good supply of Li for the batteries.Their entry into F-e coincides with the potential commencement of mining activities at Cinovec.TP
RNS Reduced capex required going forward. Good news !Explains recent rises maybe.TP
The rise continues One could have been forgiven for expecting a bit of profit taking this morning after last week's stellar performance. But here we go again !! Google finance just recorded a trade of 40p.TP
Another interview.. Well worth a look and listen imo...[link]
Keith Coughlan...MD of EMH... A couple of links to Keith Coughlan giving an interview and presentation from earlier this year.[link]
German Research Note... Courtesy of the LSE forum....many thanks...The Google English translation makes for very interesting reading ..)[link]
More drill results Company seems pleased with the latest set of results.TP
Re: Turnaround Thank YB, I'll have a look..TP
Re: Turnaround Morning TP,Interesting to look at the Lepidico website. Looking at the Home page gives a lot of info. The 'Presentation' Link on the Home page is very good. A couple of statements explain a lot.a) The Presentation dated March 2016b)Page 5. On 16th March 2016, Platypus and Lepidico executed a binding term sheet for the acquisition by Platypus of the 100% of Lepidicoc) Page 16 - L-Max a valuable exploration key100% owned process (patents applied for3 Licences already sold to Lithium Australia.d) Page 18 Growth Strategy.Brownfield Targets - Lithium bearing micas can be separated from waste dumps, etc, etc. This last point important for Cinovec but, worth a look at the whole Presentation.Lithium can be separated from waste dumps. So how big are the waste dumps at Cinovec? Bear in mind that The Cinovec project is located 100 km NW from Prague on the border with Germany. It is part of the historic Cinovec-Zinnwald mining district. Over the past 600 years more than 40,000 tonnes of tin has been extracted in this area.Over 600 years, 40,000 tons of tin was extracted. I could be wrong but there should be quite a pile of waste to work on to extract Lithium and that's without mining even one more shovel full.Presumably, the 3 Licences bought by Lithium Australia from Lepidico pre Lepidico being bought out by Platypus, are in contention with Platypus now that Platypus own the company.YB
Re: Turnaround All sounds a bit complicated YB, who has rights to use the Lepidico technology ? Is it owned by them and licences out to Li miners for royalties ? Does EMH have sole rights ? Where exactly does LIT fit in to the equation ?Problem is that complicated agreements involving a myriad of different companies ends up muddying the waters.Hopefully things will become clearer when the disputes are finally settled and an appropriate RNS is issued?Regards, TP
