Re: 15p retrace 'I think the EME share price could easily drop below 10p again'. Really? Small cap volatility provides opportunities, but I think 10p would be a ridiculous bargain. Todays movement directs sp back towards more realistic territory prior to results. Little point in all the speculation about flow, etc until then.If it settles, there'll be a few sellers who might regret letting theirs go yesterday.

Sit and wait Hi, I am the same as most just watching the last couple of weeks. I am down at the moment but I feel from all the research I have done that this will come good in the near term. The only question I have is re some comments about how much gas can flow down the existing structure into the system for Jo public to use. It sounds like the structure in place is only able to cope with a certain pressure and flow rate. If anyone has any expertise or knowledge in this area it would be interesting to hear your views.I am sticking with this as a riser in the near term. Thanks Simon
Re: Back into the 20's Remember reading this from when they started drilling - I didn.t expect to get so much info...Read the third paragraph..Sacgasco expects to intersect gas shows in a number of zones in the Dempsey 1-15 well and these will be assessed based on the information available, but quantitative results will need to await conventional logging after drilling each section of the well and may need flow testing to be definitive. The Dempsey 1-15 well is planned to be drilled in three discrete sections to depths of approximately 600m, 2,000m and 3,200m associated with decreasing planned casing sizes. The well has been designed conservatively to provide flexibility to respond to well bore conditions and progressive results. Empyrean has also been informed that since the Dempsey 1-15 well will be exploring for a new gas pool, Sacgasco has requested that the regulator keep the records confidential for two years as allowed by Section 3234 of the Public Resources Code of California. The regulator has approved the "Confidential Status" for Dempsey 1-15 in order to protect longer-term shareholder value. Aside from compelling technical merit, the Dempsey 1-15 well location sits next to existing gas metering and surface infrastructure that is owned by the joint venture. This will allow for any gas discovery to be tested and connected into the local pipeline at relatively low cost and in an accelerated timeframe.
Re: Back into the 20's I haven't got a game or any funds to invest. I am fully invested in Solg and locked in there for next 12 to 18 months. Ref Malacy just my views re having followed his comments and lost a significant amount on Aminex, doesn't seem to comment on potential sp if drills not successful.Seagull
Back into the 20's "I see no reason why this well will not be a significant, profitable producer with the added advantage of bringing in revenue within weeks of testing so payback should be within months, a very solid achievement. In addition, as I mentioned last week the partners should move the rig to one of the three Dempsey lookalikes or even test the casing at Alvarez, exciting times indeed."I think we sussed your game yesterday seagull.I'll vouch for Malcy knowing more about Oil and Gas than your good self.A climb back to the 23p level should come with changeover of the rig and a move to production.Dempsey or Alvares - where next for the present rig.Own due diligence
Re: 15p retrace Doesn't make any sense to have drilled and then say not testing. In Indonesia they done the drill and announced results almost immediately. All they have to announce is amount of gas they found and stable flow rates they don't have to say what depths net pay etc. This helps with fundraising for future projects and keeps loyal investors upto date with progress etc. Just feels very odd way about doing business. All investors have been told is that have discovered enough gas to over cost of drill which was announced at the start of the drill and that they classed those various gas shows as significant. Just my views and do your own research.
Re: I see no reason why... Malcom All I know is , look at when Malcy started commenting on EME and his comments and look the share price graph. No clearer than that, as I said before he jumps on bandwagon when wheels about to come off. Just my opinion as regards two of the shares he commented on that I held, glad sold out at 25.75p Seagull
Re: 15p retrace The bullish RNS have stopped, the Operator has finished its fund raising with minimal dilution and even 9p a share is x4 from the recent lows for EME & nearly x3 from last Open Offer... and EME will only get 30% of the gas revenue after cost recoveries incl. director fees.Unless the flow rates are very good, I think the EME share price could easily drop below 10p again.FRR still has much more potential at lower risk in my view... time will tell.
Re: I see no reason why... Malcom Actually he did the opposite seagull and one thing he has done that you haven't is that he has actually sat down with the Board of Directors. He's a good old boy is our Malcom.I think we are now firmly in oversold territory and we should head comfortably back to the 20's. After all it shouldn't be that long before the rig is changed over and EME is flowing gas and earning money.Own due diligence
Re: I see no reason why... Malcom Good old Malcy, just as expected he jumped on band wagon and feed into the hype at the top just as wheels coming off, just like he did with Aminex which I lost 40% on, perhaps he will be ahead of the curve on of these days but, won't hold my breath. Clearly, trying to row back from alittle of that over enthusiam now but all to late imhoSeagull
I see no reason why... Malcom According to Malcy and his blog comments"Empyrean Energy (LON:EME)An update from the Dempsey well this morning and I detect a touch of after the Lord Mayors show about the share price. I assume it is because after a flurry of announcements, each one more exciting than the last, today they have announced that they are only to flow test multiple zones. The wireline logs data supports the previous reports of significant gas shows and testing will begin with a more economical workover rig which should be able to mobilise in 2-3 weeks after the drill rig has left. They will test in the sequential way with lowest gas zones first and I imagine that they are hoping to tap into the deeper zone, which if my memory serves me correctly should contain 100-300 BCF of gas first. Whichever zone is capable of flowing pipeline quality gas at commercial rates will then be placed into production for immediate cash flow.I see no reason why this well will not be a significant, profitable producer with the added advantage of bringing in revenue within weeks of testing so payback should be within months, a very solid achievement. In addition, as I mentioned last week the partners should move the rig to one of the three Dempsey lookalikes or even test the casing at Alvarez, exciting times indeed."[link] due diligence
Re: Close to target price 15p? Retrace to current price is overdone now IMO - be Interesting to see where it ends today. Opportunities to top up (average down for long termers) at these levels.
