Re: remember sacremento is 9 hours behin... my point is, work wont start 'today' until our market is nearly closed and defo well after OZ. so no news tonight. . I am optimistic on end of this week for at leastt a progress report.
Re: remember sacremento is 9 hours behind UK The news will come from the other direction-----from Australia and from Sacgasco the operator of the well. That can appear around midnight our time. So news will be posted on BB boards here long before the opening of the Market at 8.00 am. And yes I agree this week could be the one for news. If it is as has been indicated a World Class discovery, then it will double in price real quick and then some.GL
remember sacremento is 9 hours behind UK so news always seems a day later... expect news end of this week
there a guy on LSE called rathole he has tried every type pf different story to deramp. his latest one is that they wont be allowed to flare the gas for quite a while due to the fire in california... well the fires werent near sacremento and BTW its RAINING there twoo of the next THREE days....he is a total joke dont listen to the noise
nice read [link]
Re: Sacgasco's description of Dempsey $759K per annum after capital/depreciation charges, operational costs, staff/overhead costs and tax isn't going to move the EME share price up very far, even if the overall volume of gas extractable is very high - given the cost of drilling more wells, pipelines, etc.Still, I will await the Dempsey test results with interest, however, I believe FRR has greater potential at present, with quite a lot of oil ready to extract as well as gas.
Re: Sacgasco's description of Dempsey I think it's the annual amount based on the current US Gas Prices[link] per day x 365 = $2,529,450 per year at current pricesEME has 30% of that figure per year $758,835 is what they will make annually from this well at that kind of flow rate.
Re: hoping no news this week got funds , bought more today. let the news flow......
Re: Sacgasco's description of Dempsey think it could be price for the year!
Re: Sacgasco's description of Dempsey Where is the calculation that 1million scf of gas will equate to 3 million dollars? Its more likely a figure of 8000 dollars.
Listen to the Presentation yourself. [link] is the link you need, if you have not seen it already.
Sacgasco's description of Dempsey Here is a brief summary of the salient points made by Sacgasco during the Good Oil Conference just over three weeks ago in its Presentation. The Presentation made it clear that the Dempsey well had the potential to move the stock price a long way, and make investors a lot of money. Those who bought in at 3 Australian cents had done so already. Why can Dempsey move the stock price a long way quickly? Because of high flow rates from large reserves and that combination will move the stock price a long way and quickly, they said. What they have uncovered in this Northern Sacramento Basin is described by Sacgasco as "World Class". It is the best seen on-shore location, given the local infrastructure and the under-explored deeper deposits.during drilling was concerned about the amount of gas that they saw, and they took kicks of gas that they couldn't handle, and so they set up an emergency flare, just in case they took kicks of gas they couldn't handle.Drilling Dempsey was an exciting experience, even though they encountered very hard rock at lower levels that had been undisturbed for over 100 million years. That hard rock slowed things up a bit, as the crew put a disciplined and conservative approach to the fore, in order to ensure reaching the target depth safely, with a good hole to log and complete. As we now know, they have achieved this successfully. They have seen four virgin zones with net pay.Dempsey is described as a gasey well, and they know that there is gas in the shallow sands anyhow. It is a nice clean dry gas and after testing should go straight into the system for salesAnd for every 1 million cubic feet of gas that flows per day, the gross cash flow will be at current prices $3 million per day.Sacgasco is confident of the potential that is in front of them with this discovery, and the results so far have shaken up the local mining community.
