Malcy Blog Empyrean EnergyI am glad that I caught up with Tom Kelly a few weeks ago when I had the chance otherwise I might have missed the excitement of the last few days as success in both China and California is pushing the share price justifiably upwards. Yesterday they announced that in China they have identified 591 MMbbls over three prospects called Jade, Topaz and Pearl and while these are early days it is already looking most interesting. What seems to be an almost daily update from Dempsey this morning suggest that yesterday the operator intersected a potential sandstone reservoir with high gas shows in what is believed to be the primary target zone in the well. Plenty of time to go yet and much to prove but this seems to me to be a significant discovery and reinforces my view that Mr Kelly has another hit on his hands with EME mark 2.[link]
Valuation calculation Picked up from Adfyn board today , interesting analyses trying to put valuation on Empyrean 1tcf and sales at $3.20 we own 30% 3.2mn X.30 circa $1bn so Npv100 is at $1bn a fair valuation in ground is npv10 32c per barrel in the ground £250mn mcap...Add in Alvarez share and oil at 600mmbls 500mn is not out of the questionDempsey is likely more than 1tcf imo.
Re: Potentially a 5-10 bagger Empyrean owns 10% of West Natuna Exploration Limited, a holding company that owns 100% of the Duyung PSC. Conrad owns the remaining 90% of WNEL.

Re: Potentially a 5-10 bagger What about China & Indonesia ??
Re: Potentially a 5-10 bagger Been a great week. Everything now hangs on good wirelog test results when get to target depth. If it isn't a monster then going to an awful lot of gutted PI'S ! However, if rns to be belived will be heading for a market cap 2/3 tomes current level at least imho. Don't forget China n Indonesia!
Re: Deep Breath This is now motoring along nicely, next week could be interesting, bound to see a small re-trace as quick profit makers take their slice, then it should move upwards again.... It would be great to finish this week at 20 pence..
Deep Breath Getting to grips with this now, this looks like an amazing gas discovery on land next door to infastructure in place, with a huge market paying over the top prices, whats not to like about this , a portfolio re-adjustment seems necessary, imo GLA LTH Prospects are very encouraging
Re: Announcement to ASX 8 September 2017 'Most Significant Gas Shows to date at Dempsey'and still ~440m to go...
Re: Jade and Topaz RNS Agreed, this is going surge big time over the next few weeks. !! Be ready ...
Re: Jade and Topaz RNS wait till we get the TCF news on the gas, that will set the rocket under the SP, imoGLA LTH got minimium 50p all over ths i reckon.
Jade and Topaz RNS 'results greatly exceed expectations'. New, third 'significant' target 'Pearl'.'...prospects of truly significant scale and size...'
Potentially a 5-10 bagger Will know in next 3 weeks! This is the best part of rnsDempsey Prospect and Dempsey 1-15 WellDempsey is a large structure mapped with 3D seismic and interpreted by Sacgasco to have the potential to hold a prospective resource of over 1 Tcf of gas in up to seven stacked target reservoirs. Individual, unrisked Deterministic Prospective Resources for the primary targets range from 116 Bcf to 352 Bcf of recoverable gas. Should all the stacked reservoirs be full of gas, the cumulative unrisked recoverable Prospective Resources within the Dempsey prospect could exceed 1 Tcf.
580 Mtrs left more significant gas shows It's all starting to look extremely positive, may be a significant re rate for share price due imminently, rns released overnight, sounds like around 2/3 weeks and potential confirmation that sitting on a very significant gas resource which can be producing in a matter of weeks![link]
