Re: What's going on? Snap! Have been selling down some of my holding - believe that there is further to go on this one as takeover activity proceeds.
Re: What's going on? Talking to myself - but have sold 30% between 67 and 81p. In for nothing and happy to hold longer term - will sell another 20% between 90 and 100p...
Re: What's going on? So it got to 65 in May after a good puff from tip in IC... AGM on 17th May should report on ytd and this will support share price - looking for 80p before selling a few...
Re: What's going on? not much share trading - thin market. January good trading statement ahead of results in March - cash +ve and increased dividend - business trading well. What multiple should it be on? No idea, but happy that there should be floor of 40p and can see this at 65p in April.
What's going on? Anyone know what the reason underpinning the rise is? Any insights greatly welcome.TksJZ
trading statement due should be statement ahead of results in March - expect this to confirm continued progress with earnings over 2p and decent increase in divi. hoping this encourages a bit more interest among small following...
Re: INEPT RNS Marksman posted he bought today.
INEPT RNS probably one of the most inept RNS ever seen. It is concerning that they are unable to keep an FD - more concerning that they provide no clarity on when interims due in September will be released. Fingers crossed that they are accounting for income correctly... their PR is useless and the Board should sharpen up their communication. Otherwise the story looks good and trading updates have been reassuring - long term hold (which is lucky as there is barely any market in the shares)....
results Should be out this week. Should be about 0.8p earnings with full year close to 2p. So they should be supported at current price 24p is 12x. Investment in salesforce needs to show some growth in sales - if the statement is good hoping might see 30p+.
Broker note out Shares seem to be stirring after a long period in the doldrums this year. Broker JM Finn has issued a note this week reaffirming a 35p price target - round about the level of the old highs. Looking at the pattern of its business, Elecosoft should be a reasonable beneficiary of the post referendum fall in sterling given its relatively large exposure to Scandinavian and other European currencies. Not a well covered company but quite tightly held.
