RNS Wressle results update Commenting on the latest flow test result, Mark Abbott, Managing Director of Egdon Resources said:"I am pleased to report the continuing encouraging results from the Wressle-1 test programme. The hydrocarbon production rate of over 180 barrels of oil equivalent per day attained from the Penistone Flags oil zone has exceeded pre-test expectations. The production performance together with the planned injection test will provide valuable reservoir engineering data that will be used to plan for a commercial development of the Penistone Flags. We now look forward to commencing operations on the EWT programme for the Ashover Grit and will provide another update in due course." ch
RNS re Farm Outs The latest rns reveals that EDR will have a 45% slice of the production of The Louth field, whilst only paying 15% of the costs. The chance of success (COS) is 37% in locating sufficient commercial oil. The North Somercotes gas field only offers a 25% chance of getting 11.0bcf of gas. EDR is right to join with partners in these ventures. Fingers crossed!

Re: Suspension of UKOG, etc.. News of reason for suspension of ukog et al out today, update on HH, confirmation of oip by independent co.New RNS today from EDR about it gaining bigger slice of PEDL 24 (?) at a nominal cost. This licence is only a few kilometres from Wressle. If it comes good it's good news, if it's a duster it's bad news TP
Re: Suspension of UKOG, etc.. But EDR not suspended therefore not directly affected by whatever is happening to the other oilies. Not sure if that's good or bad.
Suspension of UKOG, etc.. Shares in UKOG; SOLO; EVO; ALBA;DOR have all been suspended from this morning due to unexplained increases in sp's yesterday. The suspension is likely to be temporary but information on The Horse Hill works is pretty scant. For all the shares to show a marked rise in these companies suggests good news is afoot or some collaboration is in action. Hopefully it is good news because EDR has an interest in a licence in the Gatwick/Weald Basin area.

Re: Jitters I was in Alk but sold my entire holding (mistake) after the sp stagnated a couple of years ago. Since then it has gained 100% and lost it again. Might be tempted to get back in now. These days I tend to sell only a portion of my holdings into a profit and buy back in if possible at a lower price. With EDR I'm hoping for big things when the price of oil rises and Wressle comes on stream (hopefully)Regards, TP
Re: Jitters Yes, expect some top slicing - something had to feed that 400k buy at 14p. I'm in the accumulation stage at the mo but that recent buy at 14p wasn't mine. I'm trying not to look daily at the SP. I started buying in at 8.42p having picked up on EDR from ALK. Staying positive that the EWT will prove commercially viable.
Re: Jitters Agreed BR, but there's still a way to go till we get back to last years high. There must be lots of people still under water here. I got in years ago with an average iro 8p so I can relax and watch the price go up as oil recovers over the next couple of years.I'd be a little wary of rises like today's on no news. Chances are it will fall back a little before the close.Chance to too slice and buy back at a better price tomorrow. ??Regards, TP
