GREATNEWS GLA GOOD .RETURNS COMING FOLKS
Re: Morning everybody Good morning. Good news which the market is responding well too. Imagine if those one off orders become regular orders, the price will spike, here is me hoping. Decent 10% rise today and excellent volumes.
Morning everybody Where is everyone? Some decentish news for a change and this place is like a grave yard. Ah well ...back to LSE
Re: where is the money????? One4allIt states that the 9000 tonnes supplied to date is on a fully commercial basis and has been or is being fully paid for. I take that to mean they have received sum cash and are due some more.
where is the money????? lots of talk about prelim orders and new sampling of product but no mention that they have been paid for any of these orders..what on earth is going on??? we cant be so weak that we need to keep handing out coal on test... what we need to do is say look. we have sent coal to many people already and they like it speak to them. but ain't giving away thousands of tone free of charge for 'sampling'. why do you need to give someone 4000 tonnes. are they taking the Michael or what. ?sounds like a scam artists or two looking to get a few thousand tonnes FOC . what in Tanzania..cant believe anyone would be that crooked.weak weak management,
Selling Down It looks as if it opened well with a good price rise on buying and since then it has been sold down. Something afoot?
They have sold some coal! Update states coal sold, quality good, above expectations and expanding mining. Share price up 10%, let's see where it goes.
Re: any reason for the drop? Politics is a problem as well
Re: any reason for the drop? Just to confirm, poor in quality.
Re: any reason for the drop? I have a large loss in these, just put away in the sock drawer for years to come, my unborn grandchildren's pension I have met a work colleague who has worked over Africa for years in all different manner of mining, security etc. I mentioned to him a few weeks ago I had shares explained where and he laughed, apparently our area for coal is poor.He works in gold mines currently, and doesn't invest in shares.Anyway good luck all, my sock drawer is very deep, and can't see it reducing, and I certainly wont be investing more.
any reason for the drop? just cannot understand this...may be time to leave this crock of shiite..drip drop drip drop..
Re: For all to read - state of play Jan 15th... Jogonson , I was invested in a stock many years ago, they had a viable business that has been replicated worldwide. A private equity firm wanted to buy the firm. They did this by driving the price down from over £15 to just above £1. They then made an offer for the company, the business was viable and the business was making a good profit. Sinohydro doing the same?
replacing RUFUS people wonder who would replace Rufus... well at this point Mickey Mouse would do a better job
For all to read - state of play Jan 15th 2018 15 January 2018. A crucial point in the company's history is approaching. Big decisions to be made and announced. Namely the results of the BFS from Sinohydro concerning the power plant which is due any time now. If this is positive who knows where the price will go - Sinohydro are no small company and may even offer, if not to buyout Edenville completely but to administrate a deal.Second to that but important for two reasons are the coal deals. If the company announces coal contracts of any extended length - see RNS Jan 8th - then that will see Edenville cash positive for the first time in its history and a watershed moment for all concerned, hopefully finally putting an end to this inexorable slide in value and allowing room for manoeuvres without the spectre of funding hanging over the company. In addition to providing cashflow, this will also prove up the coal quality once and for all and take us to the next level very quickly. While all this has been going on, there has been constant selling, a lot of which must be at a loss, it just is not possible otherwise. Too much selling for this to simply be impatient investors getting scared or just weary. IMO this selling at a loss is in place in order to keep the share price down and is being viewed as an investment by someone who at some stage will want the price up or more likely will want to take the company over. I've been here too long and washed the price action to know there can be no other reason. There is a LOT of coal here. Years and years of coal. Billions of dollars worth in fact.Since January last year when the price nearly got out of control (upwards) there has been an orchestrated team of people selling the company down and deramping the stock almost full-time constantly and incesssantly. Of course anyone who calls out conspiracy or takeover or nefarious practices or anything else for that matter will be poo-pooed but those who want to control the price. make your own mind up. If you have a stomach for it, hang on in here or to buy in right now. It could be life-changing if all goes well.
Re: another week of no sales Thanks for the update Mr Prior. And a shame you're out - for your sake as I think the really big rise hasn't happened here. The market knows the potential but it's a matter of catching it at the the right moment but watching your investment decrease until the moment a game-changing announcement arrives. Not dissimilar to any AIM stock really but this one in particular is painful, especially when it is an easy short term call that the price will decrease. Cannot help feeling through watching the trading action here that this is being sold down incessantly for a reason and not simply by retail investors like yourself getting impatient. Something is going on. Lots not being said. Time will tell... Good luck with your portfolio - I'm in this for the long haul
